With a heart full of anxiety, she arrived in the mortal realm alongside Erlang Shen and the Jade Rabbit. Although the Fox Demon was cunning and treacherous, it was merely one demon and not a significant threat. Thus, A Xiao advised the Jade Emperor that only she and Erlang Shen were needed to eliminate the demon. It was only after the Jade Rabbit suggested joining them that their expedition became a trio. 0

A Xiao had once signaled to Erlang Shen, hinting that he should find a way to shake off the Jade Rabbit. To her surprise, Erlang Shen mistook her gesture as a sign that her eyes were bothering her. He pouted and blew air into her eyes, which made her inwardly curse him for being such a fool. Truly, there was no end to his foolishness. 0

A Xiao understood her own limitations well; she had no intention of slaying demons during this trip to the mortal realm. Instead, she sought an opportunity to escape her impending marriage. She had long since stolen a Bone Pill from Tai Shang Lao Jun, which would allow her to temporarily shed her celestial essence. No matter how powerful the beings of the celestial realm were, they would not be able to find her. Even if she were discovered later, she could always claim that she had been injured by the Fox Demon. 0

However, fate had other plans. As soon as they arrived in the mortal realm, they encountered the Fox Demon head-on. 0

The Fox Demon was a charming young woman dressed in red. Perhaps she hadn’t anticipated their identities at first, as she smiled seductively and said, “You two gentlemen are truly handsome.” 0

A Xiao instinctively took a step back but found her retreat blocked by the Jade Rabbit. 0

“This Fox Demon is not very powerful; you can handle her alone,” the Jade Rabbit remarked coldly from the side. 0

A Xiao felt helpless; if she were truly Xiao Tian Quan, she wouldn’t fear this minor Fox Demon at all. But now, she was just an imposter! 0

Upon hearing this, the Fox Demon’s expression changed. “You want to deal with me? Who are you?” 0

Erlang Shen took a bite of a carrot he had somehow acquired and leaned closer to A Xiao, complaining, “The carrots in the mortal realm aren’t as tasty as those in the celestial realm.” 0

A Xiao instinctively opened her mouth to scold him for being foolish but was interrupted by the Jade Rabbit. 0

“Xiao Tian Quan, go!” the Jade Rabbit commanded coldly from beside them. 0

Driven by an invisible force, A Xiao felt as if her blood was boiling, a surge of heat coursing through her body. Before she could react, she transformed into her true form and lunged at the terrified Fox Demon, who was pale with fright. 0

In the split second before sinking her teeth into the Fox Demon's neck, A Xiao managed to shout, "I love meat, but I don't like it raw!" 0

Her body was completely out of her control, and with one bite, she tore off a large chunk of flesh from the Fox Demon, a wave of bloodiness filling the air. The Fox Demon let out a pained howl, shaking its body and transforming into a Nine-Tailed Fox form that was five times larger than A Xiao, revealing its menacing fangs as it lunged at her. 0

She barely had time to close her eyes. In an instant, the previously clear sky darkened with ominous clouds, and a loud crash echoed as lightning struck down. 0

"Millennium Thunder," said Jade Rabbit with a grave expression. 0

Erlang Shen, however, was all smiles as he grabbed Jade Rabbit and ran towards A Xiao. "A Xiao! A Xiao! I'm going to turn into a rabbit!" 0

"Erlang Shen, you fool! Where are you running to with that thunder? And dragging someone along!" A Xiao was pinned beneath the Nine-Tailed Fox and unable to move. As she saw the lightning about to strike her, she could only shut her eyes. 0

"This is it; I'm really going to be struck by lightning." 0

After waiting for what felt like an eternity, there was no pain as she had expected. Confused, she opened her eyes amidst the swirling dust. The Fox Demon that had been on top of her was nowhere to be seen; instead, she saw a familiar figure with long ears and an unfamiliar silly grin. 0

The person smiled with crescent-shaped eyes and reached out a hand towards her. "A Xiao." 0

"Oh no! I've been struck and not only do I feel no pain, but I'm also hallucinating!" 0
