“Just a moment, I need to take a call.” He stood up and walked into the back room.
The door clicked shut behind him, and I quickly got up, stealthily approaching the door. Although the door had decent soundproofing, my inner Little Pervert granted me an even sharper sense of hearing.

Footsteps echoed from the back room, and I quickly darted back to my seat, putting on a freshly learned professional smile as the director emerged.
After finishing his call, he appeared quite agitated. Upon seeing my forced smile, he paused momentarily. He forced a smile of his own while walking toward the door and said, “I’m really sorry; there’s just a bit of an urgent matter. I understand Miss Li’s sincerity and conditions clearly. I’ll contact you later, alright?”
I nodded in agreement and followed Miss Fake Smile, who was waiting outside, to the front desk area. I grabbed my bag, raised an eyebrow at her, and walked out of the clinic.
Once back in my car, I drove to a corner of the street and quickly sent a WeChat message to Ji Tianming explaining the situation and sharing my plan.
Sure enough, a few minutes later, the director hurried out of the clinic and drove away.
I quietly followed behind him without feeling anxious or flustered; at that moment, I was calm and even a bit excited. All thanks to Little Pervert.
Little Pervert helped me naturally gauge a safe distance for tracking without raising any suspicion. The director’s car left the city and entered a large Logistics Storage Park in Dongjiao. Navigating through thousands of nearly identical warehouses, it finally stopped in front of an unremarkable one.
I parked about five warehouses away and observed from a distance. This warehouse was located on the edge of the entire park, with no one entering or exiting the surrounding warehouses—likely all rented out. A Box Truck was parked at the entrance, with several people moving items in and out of the warehouse. Four Black-Clothed Security guards were vigilantly patrolling around; it seemed entering through the front gate would be impossible.
I sent Ji Tianming my location and then drove around to the back of the warehouse.
This warehouse was secluded, almost pressed against a small hill at the back, leaving only a narrow passageway for ventilation. Beneath the warehouse wall facing this passage were several ventilation openings.
The passage was tight, and so were the vents; nevertheless, I had to give it a try. Thanks to my slender frame, I managed to squeeze in just barely. As I crawled through, I adjusted my breathing and silently urged Little Pervert: “I won’t keep you long; just need you for now! There’s plenty of time ahead; let’s get moving!”
Finally, I climbed to the exit and cautiously peeked out, finding myself in a corner piled high with boxes. I quietly wriggled out and hid behind a box, peering through a gap to look outside.
The warehouse was vast, and near the center stood a massive auction platform that had yet to be moved. The electronic display above had been taken down, leaving only a cold metal frame. The floor was covered with a thick red carpet, now trampled and filthy.
On one side of the warehouse, several rows of metal shelves were being hastily dismantled, with workers transporting the remaining items. The adjacent office area was in disarray, drawers wide open and papers and miscellaneous items scattered everywhere.
They were already clearing the place and destroying evidence! I hoped Ji Tianming would see my message in time and bring people over quickly!
Suddenly, a hand landed on my shoulder!
