"Master, where are you taking me? I beg you, I won't call the police! Please let me out of the car; I'll give you all the money I have!" Before I could finish my plea, he suddenly slammed on the brakes. Caught off guard, I lurched forward, my head colliding with the front seat, and blood instantly stained the backrest. 0

He jumped out of the car and retrieved something from the trunk. He opened the back door, tossed a bundle of rope onto the ground, and then with a powerful grip, pinned me down in my seat. He yanked my hand away from my nose and forcefully stuffed a rag into my mouth! 0

I widened my eyes in horror as he picked up the rope from the ground. I struggled desperately, muffled sounds escaping my lips. The driver completely ignored my attempts to break free, expressionless as he tightly bound my hands and feet with the rope. Everything happened so quickly that I didn't have time to scream for help. Even if I had, it would have been futile; he had chosen a very secluded spot to stop, with no one around. 0

"Don't move or make a sound, or you'll regret it," he breathed heavily in my face, his voice laced with madness and determination. 0

I lay there bound and unable to move on the back seat, trembling uncontrollably, tears mingling with blood on my face. The car started moving again, the tires crunching against the ground and the engine rumbling low; each sound scraped against my frayed nerves. 0

The air inside the car felt increasingly thin, my heart pounding wildly in my chest, each beat echoing like a countdown to my demise. 0

May 12th, 11:00 AM 0
The sun scorched the asphalt road, and the sweltering air was suffocating. 0
After several hours of jostling, the car finally came to a stop. 0
The driver turned to me, his gaze icy. "I'm going to the convenience store to buy something; you’re coming with me." 0
A jolt of fear shot through me—what did he plan to do? Was he going to use me as a hostage in case of an emergency? But... this also meant I might have a chance to call for help! 0
I nodded obediently. He untied me and removed the rag from my mouth; I instantly felt like I could breathe normally again. 0
He roughly pulled me out of the car, his grip like iron on my arm. As he opened his jacket, I caught sight of a knife tucked into his waistband and shivered involuntarily. 0
"Clean up the blood on your face; don’t try anything funny," he warned in a low voice. 0
I quickly nodded and wiped at my face with trembling hands as he dragged me toward the convenience store. 0
On our way there, I glanced back at the car unintentionally. Sunlight streamed inside, revealing tiny dust particles floating around. In that moment, a thought struck me: the car windows weren’t tinted! That was why he wanted me to come along—he was worried someone might pass by and see me bound in the back seat! 0
This man was too meticulous! I had to be extremely careful! 0
Inside the convenience store that afternoon, it was eerily quiet—no customers in sight—only a store clerk dozing behind the cash register until our entrance triggered an electronic welcome chime that startled her awake. 0
She glanced over at us with mild annoyance; her eyes lingered on my pink curls and short skirt for a moment before sweeping over the driver’s firm grip on my arm. A glint of amusement flickered in her gaze as she completely overlooked the fear and panic reflected in mine. 0
