Under the dim light, a figure in black, carrying a quilt on his back, leaped a few times and landed at Yen Liujv.
He reached out and gently knocked on the window a few times, imitating a cat's meow. The door opened, and Cuiyu walked over, looking around. "Where is she?"
"Inside," the figure in black said, patting the quilt on his back.
"Hurry in." Cuiyu glanced at the pitch-black outside and then gestured for the figure to come in. After cautiously looking around again, she closed the door.
The figure in black placed the quilt on a chair. Su Xingyan emerged from the inner room, fanning herself with a feather fan. By this time, her facial injuries had mostly healed, and under the candlelight, she looked enchanting, causing the figure in black to steal a few more glances.
Su Xingyan weakly leaned against the chair and pointed at the quilt, asking, "Inside?"
The figure in black nodded.
Su Xingyan chuckled and signaled to Cuiyu. Cuiyu stepped forward to unwrap the quilt, revealing the beautiful profile of a woman.
Before she could smile in delight, she saw the woman’s head droop weakly as the quilt fell to the ground.
Immediately, Su Xingyan stood up and approached the figure in black, slapping him across the face. "How did you bring her here!"
"She was in Second Sister's inner chamber. I’ve never seen Second Sister before, so…" The figure in black realized he had made a mistake and felt somewhat troubled.
"She has already seen her face; if we don’t act decisively…" The figure in black made a slicing motion across his neck with his hand.
Su Xingyan's initially furious expression shifted as her eyes darted between the unconscious woman’s face. "Though she is favored by our father, she is just a maid. While we can't touch Su Peijiu, let’s at least give her a warning this time."
"What does Eldest Sister mean?" The figure in black was momentarily confused.
Su Xingyan's hand trembled as she opened the fan, covering half of her face. Cuiyu explained beside her, "What my elder sister means is that this person has been given to you."
The man in black looked at the beautiful face of the unconscious woman, a lewd smile appearing in his eyes. "In that case, thank you very much, elder sister."
"Go on, has that matter been taken care of?" Su Xingyan said with concern, reminding him once again. After several failed attempts to harm Su Peijiu, could it be that there was truly someone powerful guiding her from behind? Su Xingyan felt a bit anxious.
The man in black smiled and rubbed his hands together. "Don't worry, elder sister. Tomorrow I will ensure that Second Sister has no way to defend herself!"

Ji Yu lowered his hand and leaned slightly closer to her. "Junior sister, take a good look; this is your room."
Su Peijiu glanced around and realized it indeed wasn't hers. Her expression immediately darkened. How could her senior brother take advantage of her while she was sleeping? There should be limits to jokes...
Seeing her expression, Ji Yu immediately sat up. "I am not that kind of person; I would never take advantage of someone in danger... Besides, as a major figure in the Demon Palace, what kind of woman haven't I encountered?! Junior sister, even if you are a beauty, you're just a child; there's nothing appealing about you."
