Guan Ao led Mings and the others to the depths of the backyard of Bu Dong Mountain Manor, stopping in front of a Bamboo Cottage enveloped in lush greenery. 0

Guan Ao paused and suddenly called out, "Tian She!" 0

Guan Tianshe rushed to Guan Ao's side like a gust of wind, circling around him like a joyful little bird. 0

Guan Ao smiled and said, "Tian She, go tell your Second Brother that Captain Ming from Si Shui Cheng wants to see him." 0

Shao Wen murmured from behind, "What an air! Not even showing his face." 0

Guan Ao's expression tightened for a moment before softening again. "Actually, my second son Tian Ming is the most outstanding among all my children. He has been a genius since childhood; he understands everything completely after just one look." 0

With a sigh, Guan Ao continued, "Alas, fate can be cruel. Tian Ming has unfortunately contracted an incurable disease that not only threatens his life but also confines him to darkness forever. He can never see the sunlight; if he does, he will die." 0

Guan Tianshe bounced forward again, his face bright with joy. "You can go in now." 0

As Mings and the others were about to enter, they were stopped by Guan Tianshe. 0

Guan Tianshe shook his head and pointed at Mings. "Not you all, just you. My Second Brother said he only wants to see the one person he wishes to meet." 0

Mings smiled and said to Shao Wen and Xiao Ning behind him, "You two wait here." Then he turned to Guan Ao and asked, " hero Guan, are you going in?" 0

Guan Ao slowly shook his head. "No need; he won't want to see me." With that, he turned and left. 0

Mings stepped into the Bamboo Cottage. 0

Before he even entered, Mings caught a whiff of an inexplicably serene fragrance. On the bookshelf opposite him sat a classical Butterfly Incense Burner. 0

The Bamboo Cottage was filled with shadows, and as Mings shifted his gaze, he noticed a large painting hanging on the wall beside the bookshelf, close to him. 0

The painting depicted a huge, bright sun, a gentle stream flowing through a grove, vibrant flowers in full bloom, and several small birds soaring in the sky. At the center of this artwork stood a woman in a flowing white gown, positioned gracefully by the stream. 0

Though only seen in profile, her beauty was breathtaking. 0

Her figure was elegant and graceful, with the long hem of her dress and her dark hair gently blown towards the rising sun by the breeze. Yet, her gaze was fixed quietly on a seemingly discordant shadow in the farthest corner of the painting. 0

A frail yet composed voice softly spoke, “Mings?” 0

Mings turned toward the source of the voice and saw a slender boy with long hair sitting with his back to him. 0

“Mings?” he asked. 0

Only then did the boy turn his face around. 0

Mings felt a jolt in his heart; it was his first time encountering someone as impeccably handsome as Guan Tianming. To Mings' surprise, Guan Tianming's features bore a striking resemblance to that of the woman in the painting. What astonished Mings even more was Guan Tianming's left eye, which was a deep shade of purple. 0

At that moment, Guan Tianming looked at Mings with his left eye, resembling a profound purple gem. 0

Guan Tianming gently plucked the strings, and the sound of the silk instrument flowed down like water from the heavens, cascading over Mings' face, giving him a sense of transcendence from the mundane world. 0

However, Guan Tianming's gaze remained fixed on the scene before him, a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. 0

Mings followed Guan Tianming's gaze and saw, in one corner of the image, an Azure Bird that had fallen to the ground, gazing up at its departing companions in solitude. 0

Guan Tianming moved his hand away from Qin Xian. "What brings you to me?" he asked. 0

Mings smiled and replied, "Perhaps there were indeed many questions earlier, but now I have forgotten them. You played a beautiful piece. I must take my leave." 0

Mings turned and walked to the entrance of Bamboo Cottage when a voice suddenly called out from behind, "You saw it too, didn't you? That Azure Bird. Do you know why it has wings yet can never soar into the sky?" 0

Mings abruptly turned around and was taken aback to see someone slowly emerging from the dim corner behind Guan Tianming. 0
