A faint sound of a silk zither drifted from the back of the hall, the melody enchanting yet tinged with an inexplicable pain. 0

Guan Tianfan gazed into the distance, murmuring, "What a beautiful tune. This is a piece played for me; perhaps you are the only one in this gloomy manor who can truly understand me. But I have found my place, and what about you?" 0

A slight smile appeared on Guan Tianfan's lips as his hand suddenly glinted, revealing a dagger. 0

Mings realized too late to intervene; the dagger sliced deeply into Guan Tianfan's neck, blood gushing forth like a fountain. Guan Tianfan collapsed, yet his face bore a serene smile. 0

Mings had been leaning against the table for quite some time when Shao Wen could no longer contain his curiosity and asked, "Captain, I still don’t understand. Since Guan Tianfan has already admitted to killing him, why do you still want to bring the arrow back to Old Corpse Head for re-examination?" 0

Mings tilted his head and smiled, "I just feel that Guan Ao's death is not as simple as it seems." 0

Shao Wen shook his head, "What do you mean? Is there something supernatural involved?" 0

"You’re right; there is something supernatural!" A cold voice suddenly interrupted. Shao Wen jumped in surprise and turned around to find Old Corpse Head. 0

Old Corpse Head slowly retrieved the arrow that had killed Guan Ao from his wide sleeves and carefully extracted a fine thread. "I found this—white silk from Kunlun Mountain, also known as Heavenly Silkworm Silk, a treasure revered in the martial world!" 0

"Heavenly Silkworm Silk?" Shao Wen was puzzled. "How could there be Heavenly Silkworm Silk on the arrow?" 0

"What if it’s not on the arrow?" Mings' eyes brightened. "What if the Heavenly Silkworm Silk was on Guan Ao? Then this matter becomes intriguing." 0

Shao Wen rubbed his forehead in thought and suddenly exclaimed, "It’s the Heavenly Silkworm Garment made from Heavenly Silkworm Silk! Could it be that Guan Ao was wearing the Heavenly Silkworm Garment when he died?" 0

Old Corpse Head nodded. "That seems likely. It appears that Guan Ao was already aware of the danger to his life and had prepared for it in advance." 0

"Bu-but that doesn't make sense, does it? The Heavenly Silkworm Garment is supposed to be impervious to weapons, so how could the arrow that killed Guan Ao pierce through it?" Shao Wen shook his head. 0

Mings suddenly spoke up, "Then there must have been something else that pierced the Heavenly Silkworm Garment before the arrow did." 0

Old Corpse Head said calmly, "It seems I need to have a meeting with Guan Ao." 0

At Bu Dong Mountain Manor. 0

Guan Tianshe nestled closely against Guan Tianming, gazing out into the pitch-black night, fearfully saying, "Second Brother, I don't want to sleep alone. Do you think Dad and Big Brother's ghosts will come looking for me?" 0

Guan Tianming gently stroked Guan Tianshe's head, reassuring her, "They won't. Even if there are ghosts, Dad and Big Brother wouldn't come to scare you; they will protect you." 0

"Really?" Guan Tianshe clung to Second Brother's arm, gradually becoming drowsy as she murmured, "I... actually want to see... them..." 0

Guan Tianming looked at his sleeping sister, a hint of tenderness flickering in his violet eyes. 0

After an unknown amount of time, tears streamed down the face of the sleeping Guan Tianshe, flowing down Guan Tianming's arm and onto his hand. 0

Guan Tianming gently wiped away her tears but suddenly felt as if his entire body had frozen, unable to move. 0

Meanwhile, Guan Tianshe, who had just been asleep, slowly opened her eyes and whispered, "Second Brother, I'm sorry." 0

Guan Tianming looked at his sister and asked, "Why?" 0

Guan Tianshe gently caressed Guan Tianming's cheek, finally resting her hand on his violet eyes. "It's because you're too clever. There's nothing in this world that you can't see through. The only way to protect myself is to kill you." 0

"What have you done?" Guan Tianming asked softly. 0

"How could you not know?" Guan Tianshe replied with a playful smile, shaking her head. "You know everything. You've always been a genius. Father said you were no ordinary child. You can see into everyone's hearts, can't you, Second Brother?" 0

Guan Tianshe suddenly asked with a laugh, "Second Brother, why do you think you can't move right now?" 0

Guan Tianming's gaze shifted from Guan Tianshe's face to his own hands. "It's your tears." 0

Guan Tianshe laughed again, vibrant like spring flowers. "Second Brother, nothing can be hidden from you. Indeed, I have already applied 'Yanmu Powder' to my eyes. Once you come into contact with it, you'll be completely powerless and unable to move." 0

"You've been planning to kill me all along," Guan Tianming said, his violet eyes sparkling like crystal. 0

Guan Tianshe nodded slowly. "Second Brother, you are my only family in this world now. But some secrets must remain known to only one person, so you must die. However, I won't let you die in pain or disgrace." 0

Guan Tianshe took out a small green vial from her bosom. "This is the juice of the Mandala Flower; it will make you forget all your pain. Once this juice comes into contact with the 'Yanmu Powder' in your body, it will turn into a deadly poison! Second Brother, you need not worry; you'll leave this world in a painless illusion." 0

She slowly moved the green vial toward Guan Tianming's lips when suddenly he spoke up, "Tian She, I'm sorry." 0

As soon as the words left his mouth, someone appeared behind Guan Tianshe and seized her hands; it was Mings, dressed in blue hunting attire. 0
