At the Ubuyashiki mansion, the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Tanjiro and his companions, Hijou Feiye, originally thought that after defeating the demons, they would finally be able to rest for a few days.
However, the Demon Slayer Corps's messenger crow seemed to have timed its arrival perfectly, bringing with it a new mission - to head to the Asakusa area and find the demon lurking there.
"This mission is probably not going to be simple," Tanjiro thought.
At this time, Tanjiro was wearing a low-key headscarf on his head, along with Hijou Feiye, who had changed their appearance mainly to avoid being recognized by demons. They were afraid that if they were recognized, the lurking demons might escape. Nezuko remained unchanged, and the three of them walked on the bustling streets of Asakusa.
The lights were brilliant, and the voices of the people were clamorous, everything seemed so prosperous. However, for Tanjiro, who grew up in the mountains, all of this was so novel.

At that moment, Tanjiro suddenly stood up, expressionless, and gazed into the distance as if he could see something through the crowd and buildings.
"What's wrong?" Hijou Feiye asked.
Tanjiro's expression turned serious. "This scent... I smell his scent, the demon is nearby."
Feiye and Nezuko immediately became serious. Tanjiro dropped his noodle bowl and quickly made his way through the crowd in the direction of the scent.
"It seems like we've caught the scent of Kibutsuji Muzan. Boss, please take care of this little sister for me. We'll be back as soon as possible!" After saying this, Hijou Feiye immediately headed in the direction Tanjiro had left.
"Alright!" The boss was about to clean up the noodle bowls when he discovered that neither of them had finished eating. He immediately became furious and shouted, "You two haven't finished your noodles, you're not allowed to leave!"
Wearing a headscarf, Tanjiro arrived at a bustling market where there were even more people and brighter lights. However, his expression became more severe, his pupils contracted, and his whole body tensed up, like a fierce beast about to launch an attack.
Then, they saw him—Kibutsuji Muzan—Tanjiro almost ran over at full speed, placing his hand on the man's shoulder. The man turned around and looked at him impatiently.
He is a quite handsome, with slightly long hair, red eyes, dressed in a stylish black suit, a fashionable businessman, wearing a straw boater hat.
At the moment when Tanjiro is about to draw the Sun Wheel Sword, his eyes are already filled with determination and killing intent.
However, at this tense moment, a young girl's voice suddenly broke the tension.
"Daddy, who is he?" Tanjiro then noticed that the man was holding a girl of about five years old in his arms.
Tanjiro was shocked: "This guy is actually living as a human!"
