After the school bell rang, Murano Rimi quickly organized her backpack and went to find Izumi Shinichi. They found a secluded corner within the school where there were no other people around, ensuring that their conversation wouldn't be overheard by unrelated parties.
"Who would have thought that there would be such a companion, this is really beyond my expectations." Right was the first to break the silence, his voice tinged with disbelief.
"What's even more unbelievable is that she not only successfully took over that person's brain, but also retained her original identity, and has not been discovered by anyone. This is truly shocking." Right continued with a deeper analysis, his expression becoming increasingly serious.
"I also find this very strange," Mi suddenly joined the conversation, "Usually, creatures like us parasites would immediately change our original way of life to adapt to our new body and abilities after taking over a host. But she chose to maintain her original human identity and integrate into human society."
"Indeed, she continues to work as a teacher, responsible for educating human students. This ability and wisdom are truly amazing," Right couldn't help but admire.
Rimi smiled and nodded, "From what I understand, the intelligence of parasites is closely related to the intelligence of their hosts."
"Ha, are you implying that Shinichi isn't smart enough, so I can only learn limited things from him?" Right asked half-jokingly.
"Hey, Rimi, which side are you on?" Shinichi said displeased.
Mi giggled, "I don't think Rimi meant it that way, Right. Intelligence is just one factor. The key point is that the teacher parasite chose a different path from the previous parasite, and that's what's most noteworthy."
Shinichi smiled at Rimi and said, "You hear that, Right? You don't need to feel inferior."
"Haha, inferiority? That's a human emotion, I can't understand it. And if anyone should feel inferior, it should be you, Shinichi," Right said with a hint of humor in his voice.
Shinichi ran to the corner of the classroom and turned on the faucet at the sink.
"Shinichi, it feels so cold," Right murmured.
Shinichi pulled back his hand, turned off the faucet, and said firmly, "We can't afford to not take some action."
"What do you mean by 'action' specifically?" Right's voice revealed a hint of curiosity.
"Fool, if we don't do something, she'll eat everyone in the whole school!" Shinichi said urgently.
"No, I don't think that will happen. She wants to integrate into human society and won't just attack people she has social interactions with," Right analyzed rationally.
"How can you be sure?" Shinichi couldn't help but question.
"Maybe she has her own purposes and plans," Rimi interjected. She knew what it was, such as pregnancy, but didn't want to spoil it for Shinichi and Right.
"What's the purpose?" Shinichi asked curiously.
"Yes, perhaps she has some special purpose and needs to temporarily blend into human society," Mi responded.
"What should we do then? Should we just go ask her directly?" Shinichi made a bold suggestion.
"No, there's no need. I believe she will contact us proactively soon. There's no need to worry excessively," Right immediately rejected Shinichi's suggestion.
"I agree too. Let's observe first and not act rashly," suggested Mi cautiously.
"Okay, let's proceed with this plan," Rimi said, with a determined look as if a decision had already been made.
Shinichi and Rimi nodded in agreement and decided to continue to stay on alert, refraining from taking any proactive action for the time being. They both knew that this not only concerned their own safety, but also had the potential to impact the safety of the entire school.
"Then let's go home for today and continue our observation tomorrow," Shinichi concluded.
"Okay, see you tomorrow," Rimi responded as she picked up her backpack and left the school with Shinichi.
The next day, as the sun was just rising, the classroom at the school was filled with morning mist and the light of the rising sun. Teacher Tamiya walked into the classroom with a smile on her face, but Rimi and Shinichi both knew that something was hidden behind it.
"Good morning, everyone. I am your math teacher, Tamiya. Today, we will be studying a new mathematical formula," said Teacher Tamiya in a calm voice, but Rimi and Shinichi could sense something unusual in it.
Then he began the class and explained the mathematical chapter.
Teacher Tamiya walked to the blackboard and quickly wrote down a mathematical formula with white chalk. "Now, please use this formula to solve the problems, and do questions six to twelve."
Shinichi couldn't concentrate, his mind was focused on being vigilant.
He glanced down at his Right hand and could feel Right sleeping peacefully, seemingly uninterested in Teacher Tamiya. He thought to himself, "This guy, able to sleep so peacefully at such an important moment."
Rimi carefully observed Teacher Tamiya and thought to herself, "This Tamiya must be the smartest of all the parasites. I better not provoke her. It would be troublesome if she found out I'm a time traveler." Despite this, Rimi couldn't help but feel sad when she thought about Tamiya's ultimate fate.
"Izumi Shinichi, can you try to solve this problem?" asked Teacher Tamiya, her gaze fixed on Shinichi.
Shinichi was a little surprised, but quickly stood up and walked to the blackboard. He picked up the chalk and began to solve the problem. He could feel Teacher Tamiya's sharp gaze piercing into his back like two sharp blades.
Rimi and Mi both nervously watched Shinichi, silently praying that he would successfully solve the problem.
Shinichi finished writing, put down the chalk, and turned to look at Teacher Tamiya.
"Very good, you solved it correctly," Teacher Tamiya said with a smile.
"Damn, pretending to be clueless," Shinichi thought.
Shinichi breathed a sigh of relief and returned to his seat. He exchanged a glance with Rimi, and both of them felt a sense of relief.
After class, "Stand up, stand straight, salute."
Not long after, Teacher Tamiya spoke: "Murano, Quan, come to the teacher's office and find me."
"Finally, it's here," thought Shinichi and Rimi.
After class, Shinichi and Rimi came to the teacher's office as requested by Teacher Tamiya. The atmosphere in the office was quite serious, but Teacher Tamiya was sitting behind her desk with a smile on her face.
"Do you both know my true identity?" Teacher Tamiya cut straight to the chase.
Shinichi and Rimi locked eyes, then nodded and replied, "Hmm."
"Don't just say 'hmm.' Show some manners when speaking to the teacher, okay?" Teacher Tamiya furrowed his brow slightly, then continued, "You don't need to be so nervous. The parasite on your bodies should be able to sense that I have no intention of killing. At this close range, if we were to fight, everyone would suffer fatal injuries."
Rimi and Shinichi finally relaxed a bit, and Mi and Right also voiced their agreement with a "yes."
"I have a lot of things I want to discuss with you, even exchange information," said Teacher Tamiya.
Shinichi was a little hesitant at first. He looked at Rimi and then said, "I'm not sure if this is a good idea."
Teacher Tamiya sneered, "If I wanted to kill you, I would have done it already. Your unique situation is something I've never seen before, and I'm very interested. Perhaps we can discuss future plans together."
Shinichi and Rimi exchanged a meaningful glance once again.
"Okay, we agree," Shinichi said decisively, his voice filled with determination.
Rimi nodded gently, with a hint of a smile on her face. "Yes."
Teacher Tamiya glanced at them and then said, "So, after school, the two of you wait for me at the 'herad' coffee shop in front of the station. We can talk in more detail there."
When Shinichi and Rimi walked out of the teacher's office, they inadvertently noticed that Teacher Tamiya was chatting with the physical education teacher.
The physical education teacher curiously asked, "Do you have a date tonight, Teacher Tamiya?"
Teacher Tamiya smiled and replied, "Oh, I have an appointment with two students to discuss their further studies."
Rimi thought to herself, "If it weren't for Mi's presence, she might really be deceived by Teacher Tamiya's superficial image and think that she is just an ordinary teacher."
