"Away from that door, away from that tree, and away from that puppet world." Father Francis's words were filled with absolute seriousness and authority. 0

Amy felt a pang in her heart, "But how can we ensure that we won't walk in again? Curiosity is sometimes uncontrollable." 0

Francis The priest looked deeply at her and said, "You must control yourself, just as I controlled myself when I chose to come back. When you approach that door, there will be a strong warning in your heart, that's your intuition telling you - danger. Listen to it, no matter how tempting things may be behind that door." 0

They still didn't realize the seriousness of the situation, so Francis decided to speak out about what happened back then. 0

He seemed to recall the past, looking even sadder as he spoke. 0

"Jis, he used to be our friend, a young man full of energy and passion, just like you guys. 0

But the moment his eyes were fitted with puppet, he became a different person, or more accurately, he became a puppet puppet completely devoid of emotion and thought, becoming a walking puppet. 0

"From that moment on, he was no longer the Jis we knew. He became cold and heartless, like a programmed robot." 0

Francis spoke slowly, with a hint of unspoken worry in his eyes. He then shook his head with a bitter smile and said, "Seeing Jis in that twisted state made us realize how lucky we were to escape from that place in time." 0

Amy's heart raced as she listened to their accounts, involuntarily recalling the subtle moments between herself and Jis. 0

Jis told me that he found the perfect and peaceful world he had been searching for. He said he chose to stay because it could give him everything he wanted. But he never told me what price he paid for all of this. 0

Alan tightly held Amy's hand and said, "Amy, you have to believe us, that world is not what you think. It's just a seemingly perfect trap hiding deep dangers. We were all deceived by its beauty, to the point of ignoring the unusual signs. Jis is the most unfortunate among us, because he was overwhelmed by the temptations there and ultimately became a lifeless puppet." 0

He continued, "The four of us - Michelle, Francis, Jis, and I - once ventured into that world together. At first, everything seemed wonderful, the puppets were friendly to us, and there was even food and drink available. But later, we discovered the terrifying truth hidden behind that door." 0

"It was a cold and dreadful night, moonlight filled the air, yet it felt as if the scent of death lingered in the atmosphere," Michelle added, his eyes still holding the fear of that night. 0

"We entered what seemed to be an ordinary puppet workshop, but hanging on the walls were not puppets, but rather lifelike human figures. Each marionette was so exquisitely detailed, almost eerily so, as if they were souls frozen in time." 0

Nick felt a chill run down his spine. "What... what is going on here?" 0

"We soon realized that those marionettes were all once people from our world, but their souls had been permanently fixed inside the bodies of puppets." 0

Alan's tone grew more serious, "What chilled us the most was that Jis actually volunteered to have the female puppet maker install puppet eyes for him. Just because he believed that doing so would allow him to stay forever in that perfect world." 0

"But he was wrong. From the moment he was installed, he could never come back." Francis lowered his head, obviously very distressed. 0

"We could only watch helplessly as he turned into an empty shell, losing all emotions and memories. Then we decided to leave that place immediately, no matter what the cost, and return to the real world." Michelle's voice carried an unmistakable sense of determination. 0

"So, when we say you may never come back, we mean it." Alan gritted his teeth. "Children, please don't go through that door again." 0

Amy tightly held Nick's hand, tears almost falling, but she held back. "I understand, but I can't give up on Jis. I have to try to save him, no matter the cost." 0

Nick looked at Amy, although he was worried inside, he also understood that this was his sister's decision, a decision he couldn't help her make. "Okay, sister, if you want to go, I will go with you." 0

Alan and Michelle looked at each other, their faces filled with pain and hesitation. 0

In the end, Alan spoke, "Since you are so determined, I will give you an energy stone. It may help you return to this world, but please remember, once you decide to step through that door, the consequences are your own." 0

Alan took out a shining stone from his pocket, emitting a ghostly light as if it came from another world. 0

"Using this energy stone, you might be able to come back safely. But nothing is guaranteed," Michelle added. 0

Amy took the energy stone and felt a warm power emanating from inside the stone. She nodded and said, "Thank you, we will be careful." 0

After the four of them said their goodbyes, Amy and Nick returned home, exchanged a glance, and immersed themselves in the conversation and warning from earlier. 0

"Amy, do you still want to go there?" Nick asked. 0

"I don't know, Nick. On one hand, I am drawn to that world, especially with Jis still trapped there. But on the other hand, Francis and others' warnings make me afraid," Amy bit her lip, her eyes filled with conflict and struggle. 0

Nick grabbed Amy's hand and said, "No matter what, sister, you have to promise me that if you go, you must take me with you. We have to face it together, okay?" 0

"Okay, together," Amy smiled, but behind the smile lay more unknowns and uncertainties. 0
