Upon stepping through the carefully carved door made of Catalpa wood, Xuan Xiaowei and Bai Cang both felt a sense of unprecedented tranquility and peace.
The room was woven together with natural wood and bamboo, and the entire layout looked extremely elegant and full of vitality.
The natural textures of bamboo and wood intertwine in the dim light, as if telling an ancient story.

Xuan Xiaowei walked over with a smile, reached out and gently patted Shen Xiaozi's head, speaking softly, "Xiaozi, we just went out for a bit, not to a far place, no need to worry."
Shen Xiaozi pouted unhappily, but her gaze was quickly drawn to the little Tiger demon inside the house. "Wow! What is this? So cute! Is this the spirit beast you just caught?" Her eyes suddenly lit up, like an explorer discovering a new continent.
Bai Cang and Xuan Xiaowei exchanged a glance and both smiled at the same time. Bai Cang rubbed Shen Xiaozi's head and jokingly said, "This is not just any spirit beast, it's my little treasure at home. You have to treat it well!"
Xuan Xiaowei noticed that the little Tiger demon seemed a bit nervous, so she comforted it softly, "This young lady won't harm you, so don't worry."
As these words fell, the little Tiger demon seemed to relax instantly. It walked lightly over and began to play affectionately with Shen Xiaozi. Shen Xiaozi couldn't help but squat down and pat the little Tiger demon, then smiled and looked at Xuan Xiaowei and Bai Cang, "It's so well-behaved, how did you teach it?"

Xuan Xiaowei sits on a bamboo-woven cushion, feeling as if she is in a dreamlike world, surrounded by an atmosphere that seems to carry the scent of magic. The stars adorn the night sky, like an endless mysterious pattern.
"If only we could stay in this moment forever," Xuan Xiaowei thought to herself. Her gaze then shifted to Bai Cang, who was peacefully flipping through a book, the yellow light from the ancient scriptures casting a serene glow on his face.
For them, this day at the Cuiying Trials was indeed a brief moment of calm before the imminent unknown challenges they were about to face.
Shen Xiaozi and little Tiger demon were playing in the other corner of the room, and she was laughing as brightly as a flower. She threw a small wooden stick towards little Tiger demon, who agilely caught it with a somersault.
"Wow! You're so amazing, little Tiger demon!" Shen Xiaozi clapped her hands, excited like a little child.
Bai Cang put down the book, looked up at Xuan Xiaowei and the others, and smiled slightly. He felt that every day spent with Xuan Xiaowei and the others was a wonderful experience.
"Xiaowei, what are you thinking about?" Bai Cang suddenly asked.
Xuan Xiaowei was brought back to reality by his question, and he smiled gently, "Ah, it's nothing, I just feel that the time we spend together is very beautiful."
Bai Cang felt a warmth in his heart. He knew that this peaceful time wouldn't last long, but because of that, he cherished it even more.

He knew that some words are better kept in the heart, waiting for a more suitable time.
Xuan Xiaowei, as if sensing his mood, turned and smiled, her eyes filled with anticipation and hope.
Sitting on the side was Sitou Lian, elegantly sipping tea, while Bai Cang seemed more focused on the books in front of him.
