Rin's mood seems to have entered a delicate balance early in the journey.
Whenever Sesshomaru approaches her and tries to start a conversation, she unconsciously withdraws, with a hint of fear in her eyes.

Rin was deeply moved by his words. She knew that Sesshomaru sincerely wanted to protect her, and she also longed to regain her memory and find back the feeling of the past.
Sesshomaru took Rin's hand and gently said, "Whether you remember me or not, I will always be by your side, protecting you."
Rin looked into Sesshomaru's eyes and a strong intuition surged within her subconsciously. She believed that he would always protect her and stay by her side.
