Hundreds of years ago, during a time of peace, there was a legendary story known among the common people and the demon world about a powerful shrine maiden.
Legend has it that there was a powerful witch named Tsui Zi, who single-handedly faced thousands of evil Yokai in a fierce battle that lasted for seven days and seven nights.
As the end of the battle approached, Tsui Zi finally felt the unbearable burden on her body.
Just as the monster was about to devour her and suck away her soul, Tsui Zi made a decision.
She resolutely poured all the Pure Spirit Spring in her hand into her mouth, and then with all her strength, she loudly recited the mysterious incantation. As the incantation was chanted, the fourfold spiritual power of binding souls flowed out of her body and manifested in the air.
Driven by witchcraft, the souls of tens of thousands of monsters were forcefully drawn out by Cui Zi and tightly linked to her own soul. Cui Zi, at the cost of her own soul, cast the Witch Goddess - Chirihime's Meiten: Double Binding Soul Technique.
Under the powerful spell, the souls of the monsters and Tsui Zi were tightly bound together and ultimately sealed within her heart.
However, Tsui Zi's spiritual power had been exhausted, and she was unable to purify these demon soul in time. This powerful spiritual force coalesced into a crystal within her heart.

With the birth of the Shikon Jewel, a powerful barrier surrounded the area, permanently sealing the possibility of the resurgence of the millions of remaining demon soul.
However, on a certain day a few years ago, a witch named Kagome appeared and made a specific wish: "I wish for the Shikon Jewel to disappear." At the moment the wish was made, the Shikon Jewel shattered into scattered fragments and disappeared without a trace, plunging the demon world into endless searching and seeking.
In order to regain the mysterious Shikon Jewel, the demons went to great lengths and tried every possible method.
First, they banded together to attack the witches with strong spiritual power. But soon, they found that this approach was completely futile.
In the battle with the witch, although both sides suffered heavy losses, the demons never caught a glimpse of the Shikon Jewel shadow.
So, the demons turned to another method. They began to search for Tsui Zi's family, attempting to devour the witch's descendants and, at the cost of their own souls, create a powerful soul gem.
However, they helplessly discovered that without the powerful ability of Tsui Zi, they could only control one soul at most, and even a slightly stronger demon, and could even control up to two souls.
Although these soul beads cannot compare to the Shikon Jewel, their function is very similar, as they can both enhance the abilities of demons.

The prosperity of the Tsuiko family comes from their long-term residence in the mysterious Seirei Mountain. Seirei Mountain is naturally abundant in spiritual power, and all things have spirituality.
This is the birth and resting place of the goddess Kikurihime, the origin of the Japanese shrine maiden. Her soul and bones provide an absolute shelter and barrier for this mountain.
On this sacred land, there is a magnificent shrine built by the people specifically for Kikurihime.
The Mokusaku family, chosen by Princess Chieri, worships the goddess here year-round, praying for the peace and prosperity of the family.
At the foot of Jingling Mountain, there are two peaceful little villages hidden away. One is Pinghe Village, and the other is Xiaoshan Village.
Thanks to the protection of the witch goddess Chuliyuan, the monsters cannot enter here, nor can they find it.
Therefore, the villagers living here enjoy peace and prosperity, and they have never seen any monsters, living carefree lives. Of course, being in the spiritual mountain, occasionally powerful witches are born in these two villages.
