The tranquility of Anning Village was shattered by a sudden attack, with flames and smoke enveloping the entire village. The villagers were in a panic, their cries and pleas for help intertwining to create a tragic scene reminiscent of the Warring States period.
The village chief shouted loudly, trying to maintain order: "Everyone, don't panic! Quickly, take the children to a safe place!"
Women screamed, tightly holding their children: "No, no, we can't be separated!"
A young man wielding a crude weapon, fear and anger flashing in his eyes, declared: "We must resist; we cannot let them take our home like this!"
Suddenly, a strange light accompanied by a loud noise tore through the sky as Li Feng descended from above, landing in the center of the village. The villagers' attention was drawn to this unexpected phenomenon.
Li Feng stood up unsteadily, looking around: "Where is this? How... how did I end up here?"
The village chief hurried toward Li Feng, urgency in his eyes: "Young man, who are you? Where do you come from?"
Li Feng looked around at the chaos in confusion: "My name is Li Feng; I come from... another world. I don't know why I'm here."
An elderly man leaned on his cane, his voice trembling: "Another world? Has a deity sent you to save us?"
Li Feng took a deep breath, trying to calm his emotions: "I don't know if I can save you, but I will do my best."
A woman with tear-filled eyes spoke with a hint of hope: "Please, help the children; they are our future."
At that moment, the enemy's shouts grew closer, their iron hooves trampling every inch of the village.
The village chief urgently said to Li Feng: "If you can truly help us, then hurry; we need your assistance!"
Li Feng nodded. Although he did not understand why he had come here, he knew he could not stand by and watch innocent people suffer.
Li Feng declared firmly: "I will fight alongside you until the very last moment."
Inspired by Li Feng's words, the villagers found a glimmer of courage. They knew that even if hope was slim, they had to fight for their survival.
As night fell, the flames of Anning Village flickered in the darkness. With Li Feng's help, the villagers barely held off the enemy's first wave of attacks. However, the battle was far from over; Li Feng realized he needed to quickly adapt to this new world and his role in this Warring States period.
Standing atop the ruins, Li Feng gazed at the assault rifle in his hands: "What... what is this weapon? Why do I have it?"
The village chief gasped for breath as he approached Li Feng: "The weapon in your hands is something we have never seen before. Its power may change our fate."
Li Feng recalled the world before his journey, a glimmer of determination flashing in his eyes: "I must learn to use it, to protect the people here."
The young boy curiously examined Li Feng's weapon: "Are you really from another world? What is it like there?"
Li Feng smiled slightly, trying to ease the tense atmosphere: "There are tall buildings, cars, and airplanes. People live in peace."
A woman holding a child looked on with longing in her eyes: "Peace... what a distant wish that is."
Suddenly, a hurried sound of footsteps broke the night's tranquility as several villagers rushed over, panting heavily.
The messenger gasped for breath: "Village Chief, the enemy... the enemy is gathering again; they are preparing to attack once more!"
The Village Chief clenched his fists, his expression grave: "We must be prepared; we cannot let them succeed again."
Li Feng turned to the Village Chief, his tone resolute: "Tell me how I can help you. I need to understand the enemy and this battlefield."
The Village Chief took a deep breath and began to explain: "The enemy comes from the north; they are barbarians—greedy and cruel—having destroyed countless villages. We must unite if we are to have any chance of survival."
Li Feng nodded, determination settling in his heart: "I will do everything I can to protect this village with this weapon."
Under the Village Chief's guidance, Li Feng began to learn how to survive and fight in this new world. He realized that combat here was not just a physical confrontation but also a battle of wits and courage.
Li Feng checked his submachine gun and said to the villagers: "I will teach you how to use these modern weapons; we will fight together."
The villagers looked at Li Feng. Although they still had doubts in their hearts, they could sense the determination and strength emanating from Li Feng. In this Warring States period, what they needed was precisely such a leader.
