"Never mind, I'm done playing. I admit defeat," Killua finally couldn't help but say with a disappointed look on his face.
Chi immediately felt a sense of relief. She also wanted to find a time to quit, but she was too embarrassed to speak up first.
"Why? We still have time, we were so close to succeeding," Gon looked at Killua with a puzzled expression.
Killua shook his head and said helplessly, "Don't you understand, kid? The old man hardly moved his right hand and left foot. The gap between us and him is too big. Even if we spend another ten years, we won't be able to snatch that ball from his hand."
Chi stood by, listening quietly and nodding. Even her perceived excellent abilities of Nen were easily suppressed, to the point where she didn't even have a chance to touch the ball.
Netero laughed and said, "Ah, you finally noticed. I thought I was being quite secretive."
"Haha, this old man really makes people angry," Killua responded irritably.
Then he turned to Gon and said, " Gon, let's go."
"I want to play again," Gon stubbornly responded.
Killua looked at him angrily, "Didn't you hear what I just said? Don't daydream anymore, that ball can't be grabbed."
Chi looked at this scene and felt like Killua is actually Gon's older brother, with a "three lines" expression on his face.
Gon said seriously, "We still have half the time left, I at least want to make Netero use his right hand."
Killua was stunned for a moment, then said, "Is that so? Well, you can take your time dealing with him. I'm going to rest first."
Chi quickly interjected, "Big brother, I'm tired too. Killua and I will leave first."
"Huh? Are you leaving too? Well, go back and rest early," Gon responded somewhat dejectedly.
"Killua, wait for me," Chi hurriedly walked forward, wanting to find Killua who had disappeared in the blink of an eye.
" Netero sensei, just now I noticed that Killua was walking slowly, but it seemed like there were several of him present. What's going on?" Gon asked with a curious frown.
Netero A faint smile played on his lips, but his eyes never left the flying ball. "That, my friend, can be considered a form of advanced technique. It's something you don't need to know, and can't know," he said calmly but firmly.
"It seems to be a truly profound martial art," Gon said with a hint of respect in his tone.
"Mmm, this kind of skill requires long-term practice and training to reach that level," Netero responded lightly, while his fingers gently spun the ball in the air.
" Killua It's really not easy," Gon muttered softly, his eyes filled with admiration.
At that moment, Gon quickly reached out to grab the flying ball. But just as his hand was about to touch the ball, Netero deftly lifted it up.
"Don't even try." Netero flashed a mocking smile, with a hint of provocation in his tone.
"This move doesn't work either. It looks like I'll have to think of another way." Gon thought to himself, his eyes becoming more determined.
Netero sneered inwardly, "This kid just said he didn't care if he could get the ball, it seems like he's disguised it very well."
"Cannot be the slightest negligence, this kid is not simple." Netero muttered solemnly, then refocused, preparing to face the next wave of attacks from Gon.
The atmosphere on the field instantly became tense, as the two locked their gaze tightly on the ball dancing in the air, fully focused and ready for the upcoming showdown.
"Tsk, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. Hmph, forget it."
Killua clenched his fists, looking like a powder keg about to explode as he walked down the corridor of the airship. His brow furrowed deeply, as if a fierce fire was burning in his heart.
At that moment, two examinees approached from the opposite direction. In the narrow corridor, neither side seemed willing to give way, and as a result, Killua collided with them head-on.
"Oh, why are you all sweaty?" one of the candidates frowned and said discontentedly.
"Hey, didn't your teacher teach you to apologize when you bump into someone?" another candidate joined in provocatively.
Killua's face became increasingly gloomy, and just as he was about to explode and beat down the two examinees, Chi appeared in time and grabbed his hand.
"Sorry, my brother's not in a good mood right now. Please...shut up and go back to your rooms," Chi said calmly but with an undeniable authority.
Those two examinees instantly seemed to be under a spell, their mouths unable to open, their bodies stiffly turning back to their own rooms. Their eyes were filled with fear and confusion, but there was no sign of resistance.
Killua saw this scene and his anger subsided slightly. He noticed that Chi also looked serious, which made him understand that everything had been done by Chi.
He quietly retracted his sharp nails that were about to extend, thinking to himself, "Hmm, it seems that Chi is not only clever, but also quite skilled."
Chi glanced at Killua and smiled slightly, saying, "You know, this kind of situation is not good for anyone, especially during this important exam stage."
Killua nodded, with a hint of respect for Chi in his eyes, and responded, "You're right, I admit I was a bit too impulsive just now."
Chi smiled slightly, released her hold on Killua's hand, and said, "It's okay to stay calm. I know that Killua is actually a very kind and gentle person."
Killua fell silent for a moment, then nodded, thinking to himself, "Hmm, yeah, now is not a good time to get angry here."
" Chi, what ability did you just use? How come they are so obedient and listen to you?" Killua asked curiously.
"Secret, you will know in the future," Chi said mysteriously.
Killua couldn't help but become even more curious when he heard this, but he knew it wasn't the time to ask further.
"Okay, I'll look forward to it," Killua responded with a smile.
The two stood in the corridor, enveloped by the soft light around them, and the tense atmosphere finally eased slightly.
"I'll go back to my room first, you should rest early too," Chi nodded at Killua, then turned and walked towards her room.
As Killua watched Chi's figure gradually disappear, he couldn't help but feel a bit complicated in his heart.
He took a deep breath again, suppressing the impending burst of anger.
"Yeah, now is not the time to get angry," he muttered to himself, then turned around and walked back to his room.
He pushed open the door and entered a simple but comfortable space. Closing the door gently, he finally felt a hint of tranquility in his heart.
The tense atmosphere reached its peak, as if a volcano about to erupt, the pressure gradually rising.
The flying ball in the air became the focal point of the mental battle between the two. Gon took a deep breath, his muscles tensing up instantly, preparing to launch an attack.
"Come on!" Gon suddenly launched the first wave of attack, his hand swiftly reaching for the ball like lightning.
Netero focused his gaze, gently flicked the ball in another direction. "That's not enough."
"Watch out!" Gon pushed off with his right foot, leaping into the air, attempting to kick the ball back.
"Hmph, naive." Netero smirked slightly, using strength to control the ball, making it curve in the air, evading Gon's attack.
Gon After landing, immediately launched another attack, this time using all his strength, reaching out and almost touching the ball.
"Don't underestimate me." Netero said coldly, instantly pulling the ball towards himself.
Netero In his heart, he thought, "This kid is determined, I can't take him lightly."
"Aren't you going to use your right hand yet?" Gon taunted, his eyes burning.
"That depends on how far your offensive moves go," Netero President said.
Gon Upon hearing this, a slight smile formed at the corner of his mouth, "Then let me show you my true strength!"
As if merging with the ground, he suddenly launched a fierce pounce, his hand clawing towards the ball like an eagle's talon.
"This is not enough!" Netero sneered and flicked the ball with his left hand, creating a Yoshimi arc in the air.
"Give me the ball!" Gon turned around and quickly reached out to grab it again.
"Hmph, you're still too young," Netero lightly flicked the ball, pushing it in another direction.
This kind of exchange repeated hundreds of times, with Gon always being within arm's reach, but always being blocked by Netero with the slightest of margins. However, Gon remained undaunted, and instead became more and more courageous in the fight.
"You have a lot of perseverance, but that's not enough," Netero thought to himself.
"If you don't use your right hand, you'll never know where my limits are!" Gon shouted, gathering all his strength in his hands and reaching out to grab the flying ball.
"Hmph, such a stubborn kid," Netero's left hand moved as fast as the wind, once again flicking the ball to the side.
"This is my determination!" Gon rapidly spun his body, attempting to use the force generated by the spin to catch the ball that had been dangling by his side.
"Where will your determination take you?" Netero thought to himself, gently flicking the ball again to avoid Gon's attack.
It's unknown how much time had passed, but Gon showed no signs of discouragement or fatigue. Instead, he seemed to be getting more and more excited.
It's as if I've forgotten that I still have the Hunter's Trial tomorrow.
