Compared to the International Affairs Secretary of America, who hides behind a curtain of rhetoric to incite nationalist sentiments, exaggerate ideological opposition, and deceive the world with selfish narrow-mindedness, the statements from the Eastern power are undoubtedly more grand and confident.
Originally, some Western citizens, who lacked sufficient understanding of the Eastern power and had been subjected to demonization by Western media, are gradually shifting their stance.
"Yes, that is a respectable nation!"
"Their development relies on their own intelligence and hard work; they haven't harmed anyone or obstructed anyone."
"Every time they find themselves in dire straits, they always rise from their own suffering, never bringing trouble to the world!"
"I don't understand why we should view such a nation, such a country as a scourge; what is wrong with them developing their country through their own diligence and cleverness?"
"Is it simply because they are too strong and obstructing America's path that we must be forced into opposing the Eastern power?"

The achievements of the Eastern power over decades have attracted global attention, especially from many smaller nations that genuinely admire its development. Now that the Eastern power is viewed as America's number one rival, there is a subtle feeling of 'the rabbit dies and the fox grieves' among them.
A wonderful idea, once the seed is planted, quickly takes root and sprouts: "If we develop, will some countries led by the United States use the same means to interrupt our progress toward becoming a developed nation?"

As the world situation fermented, many oppressed small nations were entangled in their thoughts about whether to take that step! For them, once that step is taken, it could lead to an irreversible outcome, making them thorns in America's side.
"The Eastern power is our ally; the more critical the time, the less we can afford any hesitation!"
