The last statement sparked eager discussions among the thousands of researchers present, their eyes filled with excitement.
The Galactic Award medal! This is a special award granted by international organizations to recognize those who have made significant contributions to human technological development. It can be said that aside from specialized awards like the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize, the Galactic Award is the highest honor in the entire scientific community.
More importantly, the evaluation criteria for this award are more impartial than those for the Nobel Prize, eliminating various hidden biases and reducing pre-set thresholds.
Once awarded the Galactic Award, recipients often qualify as top international authorities, which can significantly aid their chances of later competing for the Nobel Prize.
Moreover, the cash prize of Thirty Million U.S. Dollars is quite tempting!
Especially for researchers from Private Enterprises and various Research Institutes, there is a strong allure towards money. Once they win the award, they will instantly become wealthy and become Billionaires!
In contrast, experts from the National Security Department, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Military Industry remain more composed. They sit calmly, their expressions unchanged throughout.
Even when the previous cash prize of Ten Million U.S. Dollars suddenly increases to Thirty Million U.S. Dollars, it does not shake their resolve. In fact, there is a hint of mockery in the eyes of many experts.

"Team Leader, this topic..." The members of the research group looked grim, their faces showing a hint of anger.
After all, America is a major power, yet its methods are anything but grand and noble; they resort to petty tactics everywhere. Even the theme of a seminar is deliberately targeted at Eastern powers.
This has clearly escalated to an open confrontation, with a mindset fixated on undermining Eastern nations. It has even reached a point of relentless effort!
As is well known, energy development has always been a weakness for Eastern powers. Even counting all the people in the entire Eastern nation, there are definitely not many; one could easily count them on their fingers.

They might not be friendly towards the Eastern power, but they were not necessarily aligned with America either. If handled poorly, it could backfire and completely push them into America's camp.
Some countries close to the Eastern power cast sympathetic glances;
there were also neutral countries that kept their distance, waiting to see the fierce competition between America and the Eastern power;
and there were even hostile nations showing indifference, with subtle hints of mockery in their expressions.
If it weren't for the rules of the Seminar, they would have loved to directly expel the Eastern power's research team.
In just a moment, the originally harmonious and enthusiastic atmosphere of the conference room felt as if a pause had been drawn across it; everyone could sense the unusual tension in the air.
