Machine Gun Position was blown up, and Squad Leader excitedly jumped up from the ground, exposing himself to the guns of the Japanese Army. 0

“Puff!” The faint sound of a bullet hitting flesh was small but significant. Squad Leader felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, and the impact of the bullet knocked him to the ground. 0

“Squad Leader!” A few soldiers nearby rushed over as soon as they saw Squad Leader get hit. 0

Squad Leader was lucky; the bullet hit his shoulder and did not strike a vital area. He lay on the ground, shivering from the pain. 0

“You two, help carry Squad Leader to the back. Find a Medic to stop Squad Leader’s bleeding. Hurry up! The rest of you, charge with me!” 0

The deployment of Japanese forces was somewhat strange; several machine guns were set up at key points in the town but there were no extra troops defending the entrance. 0

Tie Zhu cautiously followed Wang Shunliu into Luodian Town. 0

The entire Luodian Town was desolate. Apart from the Nationalist Army, there was not a single person on the streets. Craters from shells dotted the roads, houses were destroyed by artillery, and various discarded items littered the streets. 0

The whole Luodian resembled a ghost town. Since the outbreak of war, Luodian had become the center of competition between China and Japan, with both sides deploying large numbers of troops around it, entangled in fierce combat. 0

“Bang!” Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, and a soldier from the Nationalist Army walking at the front fell to the ground. The others quickly raised their weapons and looked around. Most of the Kuomintang Soldiers were somewhat flustered, glancing around anxiously. Only a few quick-reacting soldiers from the Nationalist Army fired two shots at the wall in the direction of the gunfire but achieved nothing. 0

“Be careful; the Japanese seem to be planning for urban warfare. It looks like our main force has blocked their reinforcements from reaching us. No wonder things are so strange today with the Japanese.” 0

Outside Luodian, Hu Lian lowered his binoculars and murmured to himself as his doubts were finally resolved. 0

This time, our allies did not drop the ball; it seems they have trapped the landing forces of the Japanese Army at Chuan Sha Kou. Otherwise, the 66th Regiment would not be facing such a small number of Japanese Army. There should be at least one division of the Japanese Army. At that point, forget about attacking; even escaping would be an issue. 0

“How is it with the Division Headquarters?” Hu Lian put down his binoculars and breathed a sigh of relief. As long as there were no reinforcements from the Japanese, he could eliminate any remaining enemies in Luodian Town. 0

“Regimental Commander, there was a rebellion at the Division Headquarters due to Japanese airstrikes, but losses were not severe. Our front enemy has been identified as part of one of the 44th Regiments of the 11th Division of the Japanese Army, commanded by Major General Shan Bao Zong Wu.” 0

“11th Division?” 0

“Yes, 11th Division, also known as Shantongji Division, is a first-class division of the Imperial Japanese Army. It is one of the regular divisions of the Japanese Army, equipped with superior weaponry and strong combat capability. The current division commander, Major General Shan Bao Zong Wu, took command on August 13th, on the day war broke out.” 0

"Changing commanders at the last minute, this ****'s Japanese courage is truly remarkable. I've heard for a long time how formidable the Imperial First Class Garrison Division is. Today, we will have a showdown with this Eleventh Division to see whether our Bayonet is tougher or their bones are! Xu Staff Officer, let's go, into the town! Let's meet these sons of bitches." 0

The Regimental Staff knew they couldn't dissuade Hu Lian, so they hurriedly followed along with the soldiers of the guard company. 0

Inside the town 0

The Kuomintang Soldier began to suffer from sniping by the Japanese Army. The Japanese Soldiers, taking advantage of the terrain, occasionally fired from various concealed corners, inflicting significant casualties on the Nationalist Army. 0

"Shunliu Brother, these Japanese are quite insidious. Unable to defeat us, they're playing hide and seek with us?" Tie Zhu was pressed closely against Wang Shunliu's back as they cautiously walked down the street, while the surrounding Kuomintang Soldier also moved slowly, carefully searching every room. 0

"Bang!" Tie Zhu fired a shot at a ruined Small Building, but the bullet hit the wall. A Japanese Soldier who had just poked his head out was startled and quickly ducked down again. 0

Several Kuomintang Soldier exchanged glances and nodded, slowly moving towards the Small Building. 0

Before they could get close to the Small Building, a Black Object was thrown down from above, rolling onto the road not far from them. 0

"Be careful!" 0

Tie Zhu pulled Wang Shunliu aside and jumped into a nearby house, both of them tumbling inside. Several other Kuomintang Soldier, reacting quickly, also hurriedly took cover to the sides. 0

"Boom!" An explosion erupted as a Japanese Grenade detonated in the middle of the road. The debris and shrapnel wreaked havoc on the street, and a Kuomintang Soldier who failed to dodge in time screamed in agony as a piece of shrapnel struck his calf, clutching it in pain. 0

Taking advantage of the chaos caused by the Grenade, a Japanese Soldier peeked out, and with a bang, a bullet pierced through the head of the injured Kuomintang Soldier. 0

"Iron Egg!" A cry of despair came from behind Tie Zhu, as a soldier rushed out. 0

"Copper, come back, come back, Copper, damn it, everyone stop dawdling and cover for Copper." 0

The Japanese Soldier was still aiming at the small house where the Kuomintang Soldier were hiding. Just as Copper rushed out, gunfire rang out again outside, but this time the Japanese Soldier missed, hitting the door frame instead. 0

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Several crisp gunshots rang out from inside the small house, forcing the Japanese Soldier back. 0

Copper held the body of Iron Egg, tears streaming down his face: "Wait for me, Iron Egg, I'm going to take revenge for you right now, just wait, don't rush." 0

Copper gently laid Iron Egg down, grabbed his gun, and charged directly into the Ruined Building where the Japanese Soldier was hiding: "Japanese, I curse your grandmother!" 0

The Japanese Soldier on the second floor was suppressed by the gunfire and dared not raise his head. Taking advantage of this moment, Kuomintang Soldier quickly rushed into the second floor of the ruins to find the Japanese Soldier. 0

Tie Zhu and Wang Shunliu did not enter; they were across from the Ruined Building, aiming at it to prevent the Japanese Soldier from jumping down and escaping. 0

Copper was clearly blinded by rage and charged in. When the supporting Kuomintang Soldier approached the Ruined Building, they heard sounds of fighting coming from inside. 0

As they hurried into the room, Japanese Soldier and Copper were locked in a fierce struggle, with Japanese Soldier pinned beneath Copper, his neck tightly gripped. Meanwhile, Copper had already been stabbed three or four times by the Bayonet, blood gushing out as he continuously spat blood, cursing: "Japanese, I curse your grandmother, **** your grandmother." 0

His voice grew fainter until it disappeared. The few Kuomintang Soldier who rushed in stepped closer with their guns drawn, staring intently at the lying Japanese Soldier. 0

"Clang!" A crisp sound suddenly rang out. The lying Japanese suddenly opened his eyes wide, his face turning red from lack of oxygen as a sinister smile appeared. His right hand slowly lifted, holding a Grenade, which he had already pulled the pin from. The Kuomintang soldiers instinctively fired at the Japanese Soldier, one bullet hitting his head and penetrating his steel helmet. 0

The right hand of the Japanese Soldier fell limply, and the Grenade slipped from his grasp, rolling slowly to the feet of several Kuomintang soldiers. 0

"Grenade! Run!" 0

Several Kuomintang Soldier quickly tried to escape through the door, but just as they started moving, the Grenade detonated. A massive explosion filled the room, engulfing them in flames. 0
