After Marvin walked into the elevator with two women, a wave of enthusiastic discussion erupted in the office. Everyone seemed ignited by a passionate flame, gathering together to excitedly discuss the hottest news. The previously subdued atmosphere suddenly became lively, with each person brainstorming for the thirty thousand dollar prize. 0

"We should follow that popular star and dig up some secrets they don't want anyone to know!" a young reporter suggested excitedly, his eyes sparkling. 0

"That's not explosive enough. I think we should infiltrate those unscrupulous factories and collect evidence of their exploitation of workers," another reporter said seriously, determination written all over his face. 0

"I have an even crazier idea," an older reporter interjected. "We could track some notorious criminals and expose their crimes; that would definitely create a sensation!" 0

For a moment, the entire office felt like a scriptwriting factory, filled with all sorts of bizarre ideas. Everyone was trying hard to think of a proposal that would attract Marvin's attention and secure the prize money. 0

Eileen and Lisa also joined the discussion, huddling together to quietly exchange their thoughts. "We could do an in-depth investigation into local government corruption," Eileen suggested, her eyes filled with enthusiasm. 0

"Or we could expose some hidden social issues, like the plight of the homeless," Lisa added, her tone full of anticipation. 0

Eileen shook her head and sighed, saying, "No one cares about those homeless people... We need to come up with something attractive and interesting enough to catch Marvin's attention... as well as the general public's." 0

Lisa nodded thoughtfully, falling into contemplation as she tried to come up with a more appealing proposal. Just then, Mark, sitting across from them, suddenly stood up, tapped his cup, and mysteriously said to Eileen and Lisa, "Hey! Why don't we team up? After all, once you get that money, you'll still need others to help report... right?" 0

Eileen looked at Mark suspiciously, a smirk on her lips. "Oh really? Are you trying to get something for nothing? Do you have some kind of scheme?" 0

Mark flashed a sly smile and shrugged. "Eileen, don’t say that. I'm serious this time. You both know that this proposal needs a strong team; it won't be easy with just the two of you. If we join forces, we can definitely get that thirty thousand dollars." 0

Lisa glanced at Eileen and then at Mark, a hint of skepticism in her eyes. "So what good ideas do you have, Mark? We don’t want to waste our time." 0

Mark smiled mysteriously and whispered, "I have an explosive plan. Have you heard about that underground racing competition that's been going viral on social media? Those racers not only illegally modify their vehicles but also engage in illegal gambling; every race is fraught with danger. We could infiltrate that scene and expose their true nature; it would definitely attract a large audience." 0

Erin frowned and said, "That sounds... super boring... Is this your great idea?" 0

Mark quickly waved his hands, looking like he was teasing them: "Hehehe! Wait a minute, you two beauties! Anyway, we're going to have dinner together tonight, so... we can share the themes we've thought of and discuss them together... how does that sound?" 0

Erin and Lisa exchanged glances, and Lisa shrugged, indicating she had no objections. Erin smiled slightly and said with a hint of provocation, "Hmph! Let's see what you can come up with... old fox!" 0

Mark smiled proudly: "Don't worry, Erin. I promise you will change your mind about my plan. See you tonight!" 0

Erin and Lisa nodded, feeling a bit of anticipation for Mark's proposal. Although Mark liked to joke around most of the time, at such a critical moment, they hoped he would come up with some truly valuable ideas. 0

"Alright then, see you tonight." After Erin finished speaking, she returned to her work. Lisa also smiled faintly and turned to start organizing her materials. 0

Throughout the day, discussions in the office rose and fell as everyone actively thought about and discussed their proposals. Erin and Lisa were no exception; while working, they brainstormed possible reporting topics in their minds. Various ideas collided fiercely in the office, and sparks of creativity flew everywhere. 0

From time to time, Erin glanced in Mark's direction, seeing him frown at times and show a sly smile at others, clearly planning something. This made her curious about what surprises Mark had in store for them. 0

Time flew by quickly, and soon it was time to get off work. Erin and Lisa packed their things and prepared to head to the restaurant where they had agreed to meet Mark. They felt both excited and a bit anxious, wondering if tonight's discussion would lead to breakthrough progress. 0

The restaurant was dimly lit, with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Erin and Lisa found a quiet corner to sit down. After ordering a few dishes, Mark arrived fashionably late. He looked cheerful, holding a bottle of red wine in his hand, exuding confidence. 0

Erin smiled: "Let's hear your thoughts first, Mark. Let's see what insights this old fox has." 0

Mark nodded proudly: "Alright, I'll go first. Besides the underground racing competition proposal, I have another plan..." 0

Mark smiled slightly, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Of course there is. However, the underground racing theme still has a lot of potential. If we can find some exclusive insider information, along with some thrilling visuals, it will definitely be a hit." 0

Erin and Lisa exchanged glances, waiting for him to elaborate further. Mark continued with a self-satisfied tone, "But I have an even more explosive piece of news. I have a friend who recently received a notification that a terrorist organization is slowly taking root in the United States." 0

He lowered his voice and continued mysteriously, "They possess some kind of warfare technology that was lost during World War II, creating batches of ruthless human weapons. It is said that these human weapons are currently parked in the underground tunnels of New York." 0

Erin and Lisa exchanged another glance, a hint of helplessness flashing in their eyes. Mark, oblivious to their reaction, continued enthusiastically, "The legends about crocodiles or lizard people in the sewers might very well be caused by them. If we can expose this secret, it would be a sensational national news story!" 0

Mark grew more excited as he spoke, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "Just imagine how much commotion such a report would cause! The audience would go crazy watching it, and our ratings would surely skyrocket!" 0

However, Erin and Lisa couldn't help but shake their heads and sigh. Erin couldn't resist interrupting him. "Mark, this sounds utterly ridiculous. A terrorist organization and human weapons? Where did you hear such nonsense? From some conspiracy theory on an online forum?" 0

Lisa also chimed in, "Mark, you haven't been watching too many sci-fi movies, have you? This is even less credible than those doomsday predictions. Next, are you going to say they have alien technology?" 0

Seeing their reactions, Mark looked somewhat disappointed; the smile on his face instantly froze. His shoulders slumped, and he appeared dejected as if he had received a great blow. "Do you really not believe me? I think this could really work..." 0

Noticing his demeanor, Erin softened her tone. "Mark, we know you're serious, but this plan is just too unrealistic. Finding so much evidence would be harder than climbing to the sky." 0

Lisa nodded in agreement and reassured him, "Yeah, let's be more realistic and look for topics that have more basis. For example, recent celebrity scandals or issues with illegal modifications on cars; those are much easier to handle." 0

Mark shrugged and offered a faint smile of resignation. "Alright then, since you both say so, let's continue brainstorming for other topics." 0
