According to ancient records, this sword is hidden in a place called "Soul Valley." The valley is surrounded by dense fog, and a chilling cold air constantly emanates from its depths.
Chin Feng and his partner Sung, after many twists and turns, finally crossed an ancient forest and arrived at the entrance of Soul Valley. The entrance to the valley appears ordinary, but it hides endless mysteries and dangers. A deep path leads to the depths of the valley, with strange rocks and boulders on either side, seemingly mocking those who dare to enter.
"This place is indeed out of the ordinary," Sung said cautiously.
"Yes, there are countless traps and curses hidden here. We must proceed with caution," Chin Feng also felt an inexplicable sense of oppression.
Two people walked slowly into the valley, scrutinizing their surroundings with every step. The valley was filled with ancient symbols and textures, each seeming to tell a secret.
After walking for a while, Sung suddenly stopped, a hint of unease flashing in his eyes. " Chin Feng, look at that rock wall over there, something seems off."
Chin Feng looked and indeed found a symbol on the rock wall that was faintly glowing.
"This is a trap!" Chin Feng exclaimed.
The two hurriedly retreated, and the symbols on the rock wall suddenly burst open, forming a black vortex. A skull flew out, screaming and charging towards the two.
Chin Feng and Sung quickly dodged, and the skull hit the opposite rock, turning into a puddle of black water.
"This place is indeed dangerous. We must be more careful," Sung said with a trembling voice.
The two continued deeper into the valley, and in a dark cave, Chin Feng discovered an ancient scroll that contained a tragic legend and instructions for the valley's passage.
Legend has it that Soul Valley was once a beautiful place, and the sword in the valley was once the weapon of a brave warrior. The warrior used this sword to protect the entire village, but in a battle, he failed and was forced to seal an evil monster with his own soul. The sword was later left to gather dust in the valley.
"The story behind this sword is surprisingly touching," Sung murmured.
"Yes, this also explains why this place is full of traps and trials. These were all left by the warriors, and only those who are not afraid of death can pass through," Chin Feng replied.
Afterwards, the two decided to follow the instructions in the ancient scroll and proceed to the next trial.
Arriving at an ancient temple, they discovered a massive pool in the center. Surrounding the pool were seven different colored gems, each representing a key to activate a mechanism.
"It seems like a puzzle. We must activate these gems in the correct order," analyzed Chin Feng.
"If the order is wrong, it could lead to dangerous consequences," Sung reminded.
The two carefully studied the murals in the temple, observing that each figure in the paintings was missing some small accessories. Some had lost decorative jewels from their armor, some were missing jewels from their helmets, and some had gemstones missing from their swords at their waists...
By comparing the missing objects in the painting, they found the clues that hinted at the order of the gemstones. The two people placed different gemstones in the painting, and after some effort, they successfully solved the puzzle.
A rainbow bridge rose in the center of the pool, leading to the entrance of another space.
"What is this entrance leading to?" Sung asked curiously.
"Perhaps it leads to the true location of the sword," Chin Feng replied.
Two people walked along the bridge, feeling a mysterious force guiding them.
At the end of the bridge was a shining, mysterious space. In the center of the space, on a magnificent throne, was the cursed sword.
"We finally found it!" Sung exclaimed excitedly.
"But the atmosphere here seems very unusual..." Chin Feng frowned.
Two people felt a strong energy in a certain part of the space. Suddenly, the entire space shimmered with colorful beams of light, enveloping the cursed sword. A mysterious voice sounded as if it came from ancient times.
"Who dares to intrude upon this place, who dares to touch this sword?" The voice was cold and chilling.
Chin Feng and Sung exchanged a glance, each seeing the shock and determination in the other's eyes.
"We have come to seek the cursed sword, with no ill intent," Chin Feng replied firmly.
There was a moment of silence before the voice spoke again: "To obtain the cursed sword, a price must be paid. Prepare to face your trial!"
The two of them tightly gripped their weapons, preparing for battle.
Suddenly, the ground cracked open, and zombie puppets crawled out one by one. Their eyes burned with icy flames, and their weapons emitted an evil aura.
"It looks like these are the guardians of this forbidden land!" Sung gasped urgently.
Chin Feng quickly made a decision and waved his sword, commanding, "Sung, let's split up and distract their attention!"
The zombie dolls emitted a low, mournful moan and began to surge towards the two people.
Sung swiftly moved his body, wielding his short sword with agility, and deftly repelled several zombies, his eyes flashing with a cold gleam.
Chin Feng then used the internal strength learned from the sect, and the long sword in his hand turned into a sword light, piercing through one zombie puppet after another.
The zombie puppets tirelessly attacked, as soon as one was knocked down, another would emerge.
The traps in the space have become more fierce, with the ground constantly changing, walls spewing poison gas, and attacks interwoven with frost and flames.
"Hurry! We must find a way to deactivate the mechanism!" Chin Feng shouted.
"I think I've found it! The seven gems seem to be the key to powering them!" Sung shouted.
At the critical moment, the two of them attacked the location of the gems on the zombie's body, and all the zombie puppets collapsed instantly after the mechanism was broken.
The light in the entire space gradually subsided. And that seemingly cursed sword was quietly inserted into the throne, as if waiting for the arrival of a destined person.
"We finally succeeded!" Sung said with a tired face, but also showing a hint of a smile.
"No, it's not over yet," Chin Feng said, looking deeply at the sword.
His brow furrowed tighter and tighter, as if he had discovered something amiss. "Because that sword is not the real cursed sword."
Sung exclaimed, "What?"
Chin Feng approached the sword and examined it closely. "Look!" Chin Feng pointed to a mark on the hilt. "This symbol, if you look closely, it has some slight differences in the pattern compared to the legendary cursed sword."
Sung walked over and looked, feeling puzzled: "Huh? What exactly is this sword?"
Chin Feng pondered for a moment, then said: "This could be a trap. If we really try to pull it out, the consequences could be unimaginable."
"This may also explain why so many people have lost their lives here. It seems that the easier things appear, the more easily they are overlooked, leading to death. I think the real cursed sword is hidden elsewhere, and this one is just a false sword used to lure and deceive."
Sung looked at Chin Feng in astonishment and asked, "So what should we do now?"
Chin Feng walked to the side of the throne and observed for a while. Then his hand moved to a mechanism on the seat and gave it a gentle twist.
Immediately, a small box slid out from a secret crevice in the seat.
"There is a martial arts secret hidden inside here!" Chin Feng opened the box and took out a tattered scroll, "A tattered scroll of the Seven Heavenly Sword Technique!"
Sung's eyes instantly lit up: "This is truly an unexpected gain!"
Chin Feng was about to put the remaining scroll back into the box when he noticed something in the compartment of the box. He shook the box a couple of times and then opened the bottom compartment, from which a broken piece of stone with strange patterns fell out.
"Strange, what is this now?" Chin Feng picked up the piece of stone and curiously examined the patterns on it.
Sung looked at the stone and said, "The patterns on it look very ancient."
"Never mind, I'll keep it for now!" Chin Feng put the stone back into the pocket.
Chin Feng looked ahead with a determined gaze, "Although this sword is fake, we cannot give up. We must find the real cursed sword."
Sung nodded, a hint of determination flashing in his eyes.
So the two continued to delve deeper into the secret places of the forbidden area, and discovered an ancient palace. Its architectural style was elegant, yet it exuded a cold and cruel atmosphere. The palace's main gate was half open, revealing a mysterious ambiance.
