Ding Zhengnan's face gradually changed from white to red. Although he had endured his shyness and tried different things last night, the current situation made him even more embarrassed.

"Why so fast? Didn’t your mom pull you down to ask or scold me?" Jiang Yizhou speculated about what normally would happen.

"Maybe she went grocery shopping! Don’t think too much about it!" Jiang Yizhou advised. "I’ll drive over to Zheng Yi’s place first; you can drive yourself to work, right?"

"You don’t have to take me to work first!" Ding Zhengnan said with a bright smile. "I have a boyfriend at the company, but everyone thinks I’m lying because you’ve been abroad... It’s really annoying!"

Ding Zhengnan felt very satisfied with her boyfriend's playful demeanor.

"Jiang Yizhou, I want to clarify that the position I applied for is your Chairman's Assistant, not a personal assistant. For personal matters, I suggest you find a dedicated personal assistant!" Shen Qing said from the passenger seat, filled with complaints.
Having been called upon multiple times for personal errands was unacceptable for someone aspiring to join Zheng Yi, specifically under Jiang Yizhou's company. It felt like she was being treated as a personal assistant!
Especially since she wasn't well-versed in such matters; knowing what kind of hotel the Boss preferred or buying clothes that matched his companion's taste was far more complicated than handling company affairs.
