Guoguo took a deep look at Murong Xiuxian's expressionless handsome face, turned around, and stepped into the changing room. She put on her dress and canvas shoes and walked out.
After having breakfast with Murong Xiuxian, Guoguo stood up, looking apologetic. "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble. I'm leaving."
As she pushed back her chair and walked past Murong Xiuxian, he set down the glass of milk and grabbed her wrist. "I'm going to take you back to school. Are you deaf or something?!"
Guoguo turned around, shook off Murong Xiuxian's hand, and shouted, "Murong Xiuxian! I want to go back to school by myself. Can't you fulfill this wish of mine?!"
"Do children from poor families lack manners like you?" Murong Xiuxian mocked. "You've never called me senior."
Guoguo realized she had never called Murong Xiuxian 'senior' even once.
Hearing this, Guoguo suddenly remembered that Murong Xiuxian was in the same class as Euro Dawn in the second year of high school. "If I call you senior, will you let me go back to school by myself?"
Murong Xiuxian pondered for a moment and nodded. "Yeah."
"Really?" Guoguo seemed skeptical.
"I, Murong Xiuxian, never lie. I'm a man of my word."
"Senior, that's enough. I've already called you that; farewell." With that, Guoguo ran towards the door as if trying to escape.
When she reached the door, however, she bumped into a "wall."
Guoguo covered her nearly broken nose, tears welling in her eyes. She raised her head, ready to shout, but froze.
"Ou... Ouyang Senior."
"You are... that girl with glasses standing in the corridor?" Ouyang Qiming asked, his tone filled with uncertainty.
"Um... how did you get here, Senior?" Now that her glasses were gone and the freckles on her face had disappeared, being seen by Murong Xiuxian and Ouyang Qiming made Guoguo feel very complicated—there was excitement, joy, anxiety, and unease...
"Qiming is my friend." In just six words, Murong Xiuxian clarified why Ouyang Qiming was here.
"Yes, I am friends with Murong Xiuxian," Ouyang Qiming echoed.
"Are you looking for me?" Murong Xiuxian, sitting on the sofa, asked while glancing at Ouyang Qiming, who was dressed in casual clothes.
