The wind lifted Guoguo's shiny black hair, strands dancing like fairies in the breeze.
Murong Xiuxian, through the rearview mirror, saw Guoguo's hair fluttering like a fairy in the wind, and unknowingly, a ripple stirred in his heart, leaving him momentarily distracted.
He didn't know when it happened, but Guoguo suddenly shouted, "Murong Xiuxian, we're going to crash! Step on the brakes now!"
Hearing her voice, Murong Xiuxian's vacant expression immediately regained its cold composure. Before they could collide with another car, both of their upper bodies leaned forward quickly. Murong Xiuxian managed to brake just in time, avoiding an accident.
Guoguo wiped away a cold sweat; if Murong Xiuxian had braked any later, she might have lost her life.
In that instant of braking, Murong Xiuxian's face turned pale. After stopping the car, his first reaction was to turn and check if Guoguo, sitting in the passenger seat beside him, was hurt.
Seeing that Guoguo was unharmed, Murong Xiuxian inexplicably let out a sigh of relief.
"Murong Xiuxian, are you trying to get us killed?!" Guoguo scolded angrily. "Do you know that if we had crashed, we could have died!"
"Shut up." Murong Xiuxian pressed the horn with his right hand to vent his anger. "If you call me by my full name again, I’ll cut out your tongue with scissors!"

As soon as those words left his mouth, Guoguo immediately covered her mouth, her face slightly pale.
Murong Xiuxian's father was the Underworld Boss who ruled the underworld. Guoguo believed in the ancient saying "like father, like son," thinking that whatever kind of father one had would reflect on their child.
Impulsiveness is a devil. Guoguo tends to act impulsively, while Murong Xiuxian is easily angered. Many times when the two talk, it feels like a hail of bullets, as intense as a battle.
The two remained silent for about fifteen minutes before the Silver Sports Car stopped in front of Cavil Hotel.
Murong Xiuxian pulled out the car key, opened the door, and moved with a graceful efficiency.
He walked around the front of the car and opened the passenger seat door, coldly saying, "Get out."
Guoguo shot Murong Xiuxian a glare, unbuckled her seatbelt, and got out of the car.
Murong Xiuxian tossed the car key to a nearby attendant and then bent his left arm towards Guoguo, who was standing beside him.
