Due to Han Min's excessive force, it aggravated the injury on Guoguo's back. Guoguo squinted her eyes, slowly opened them, and glared at Han Min, complaining, "Min, your shouting is about to burst my eardrums."
"You little girl, you scared me to death! We're going to be late; hurry up and brush your teeth." Seeing Guoguo open her eyes, Han Min finally breathed a sigh of relief and turned to the bathroom to rinse her mouth.
Guoguo felt exhausted, her whole body weak, with pain in her back and right knee.
Gritting her teeth, she struggled to sit up and got out of bed to put on her shoes.
As she bent down to put on her shoes, a sharp pain surged through her back, and Guoguo bit her lower lip tightly. After much effort, she finally managed to put on her shoes.
Fearing that Han Min and Guo Jingjing would notice, Guoguo adjusted her emotions and breathing before walking into the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth as if she were perfectly fine.
During the five morning classes, Guoguo didn't absorb a single word; her face was pale, and cold sweat dripped from her forehead.
At noon, Guoguo did not go to the cafeteria with Han Min and Guo Jingjing because it was too hot for her to eat.
In the classroom, since everyone had gone to lunch, it was quiet. Only Guoguo lay motionless on the desk.
After lunch, Han Min and Guo Jingjing went to the store together and bought three bottles of sour plum drink. They walked side by side toward the teaching building.
Upon returning to the classroom and seeing Guoguo lying on the desk, they assumed she was asleep and did not disturb her. They placed a bottle of sour plum drink on Guoguo's desk before returning to their seats to read or do homework.
About half an hour later, in a daze, Guoguo heard the class bell. She struggled to lift her head and glanced at the English teacher at the podium before rummaging through her backpack for her English book.
After school in the afternoon, Guoguo was with Han Min and Guo Jingjing. It was too hot to eat.
Seeing Guoguo's pale face and knowing she hadn't eaten lunch, Han Min was very worried: "Guoguo, are you feeling unwell?"
"I have a cold, but it's nothing serious. You guys go ahead and eat," Guoguo smiled faintly.
"Guoguo, Jingjing and I will accompany you to the Medical Room to get some cold medicine from the School Doctor," Guo Jingjing said, still concerned.
"I can go find the School Doctor myself. You should go eat," Guoguo urged.
"Alright, but you must go see the School Doctor. And make sure to take your medicine on time," Han Min reminded her before leaving the classroom with Guo Jingjing.
