Guoguo stared blankly at the elegant calligraphy on the notebook in his hand for a long time. When he came to his senses, he realized that Ouyang Qiming was no longer in the hospital room.
Holding the notebook in his left hand, Guoguo tossed the ballpoint pen aside and excitedly covered his flushed right cheek with his right hand, screaming, "I got it! I finally got Ouyang Senior's signature!"
Suddenly, Guoguo, who was covering his flushed right cheek with his right hand, noticed that his glasses were missing. He panicked.
Due to having a cast on his right leg, it was inconvenient for him to walk. Guoguo did not get out of bed; instead, he placed the notebook under his pillow and first searched the bed but found nothing.
He then leaned over to scan under the bed with his eyes but still found nothing. "Strange, I was wearing them when I went to sleep. Where could they have gone?"
As Guoguo was about to rummage through the drawer of the bedside cabinet, he caught sight of his glasses in the trash can out of the corner of his eye.
"What happened? How did my glasses end up in the trash?" Guoguo muttered in confusion as he reached down to pick them up.
As if remembering something, he hurriedly grabbed the stainless steel plate from beside the bed and held it up like a mirror. The fake freckles were gone!
After calming down, Guoguo concluded that someone must have visited while he was sleeping last night.
When he put the stainless steel plate back, Guoguo inadvertently noticed a potted cactus. "Who sent this?"
One question after another left Guoguo feeling unsettled.
In his unease, Guoguo tightly grasped his glasses and notebook, sinking into a long contemplation.
At noon, the dark clouds were gradually driven away by the sunlight, and brilliant rays illuminated the earth, leaving a clear sky with the blazing sun overhead.
After finishing the lunch brought by the nurse, Guoguo was extremely bored. Thinking about Han Min and Guo Jingjing who were currently in class, he decided not to make a call. Leaning against the pillow, half-reclined, he watched the television drama.
Guoguo was eagerly anticipating the release of "The Guardian of the Mage," starring Ouyang Qiming. Although filming had wrapped up, it would still need to go through post-production before it could be released.
Today was the final deadline for paying for the custom sports uniforms. Since Guoguo was still hospitalized and hadn't saved enough money to pay for the uniform, it seemed that he was destined to be mocked by his classmates for not having a sports uniform when he returned to class.
Since being hospitalized, Guoguo had already prepared himself for being laughed at by the entire class.
Perhaps this romantic drama was too cliché and ridiculous; Guoguo fell asleep after watching for a while.
