Confirming that Guo Jingjing's health is really fine, Han Min breathed a sigh of relief and walked into Beskah Hospital with Guo Jingjing.
Guoguo had also woken up early. It was Saturday, and she was supposed to visit her mother, Li Xuemei, at the Cemetery. However, since she was in the hospital and her leg was inconvenient, Guoguo had to give up the idea of visiting her mother and would find time to go after being discharged.
Han Min and Guo Jingjing found their way to One Ward with familiarity and pushed open the door.
At that moment, Guoguo was sitting on the bed, drinking the rice porridge just brought by the nurse. Hearing the sound of the door opening, she turned her head to look at the entrance and saw Han Min and Guo Jingjing walking in with smiles.
“How are you feeling? Does the wound still hurt?” Guo Jingjing asked as soon as she entered.
“It doesn’t hurt.” This statement from Guo Jingjing was the best painkiller for Guoguo. “Min, don’t you and Jingjing have to go home to help with chores today?”
“No, both Jingjing and I will stay with you.” Han Min had already made plans with Guo Jingjing on Thursday; they wouldn’t go home this weekend and would celebrate Guoguo's birthday together.
Seeing a bowl of rice porridge in front of Guoguo, Han Min took out a cup of grass jelly from a bag. “Here, your favorite grass jelly.”
Guoguo put down her spoon, took the grass jelly from Han Min, and gave her a flattering glance, praising, “Min, you have such a good memory.”
“Of course.” After spending some time together, Han Min had come to understand Guoguo and Guo Jingjing better. “But you can’t eat it now; you have to finish this bowl of porridge first.”
Guo Jingjing still held half a cup of strawberry milk tea in her hand. She thought it would be a waste to throw it away since it was bought by Han Min, so she kept it for later when she felt thirsty.
“Can I finish the grass jelly first before drinking the porridge?” Guoguo pouted playfully and asked.
"No, you can only eat the grass jelly after finishing the porridge!" Han Min said sternly, glaring at Guoguo, resembling the boss of the Underworld.
"Is there really a difference?" Guo Jingjing interjected.
Han Min immediately replied, "Of course there's a difference. If you skip breakfast in the morning and then eat something cold, you'll get a stomach illness."
