“Guoguo, be good, don’t be afraid, just cover your ears and you won’t hear it.” Ouyang Qiming’s voice was unusually gentle as his fair, slender hands covered Guoguo’s ears.
The deafening Thunder diminished significantly, but Guoguo was still scared, tightly hugging Ouyang Qiming’s waist and sobbing uncontrollably.
After two hours, the rain stopped, and dawn broke with a red sun slowly rising. Guoguo, exhausted from crying, fell asleep in Ouyang Qiming’s arms.
Han Min and Guo Jingjing, worn out by Guoguo’s distress, had already fallen asleep half an hour earlier.
Originally, Ouyang Qiming was shooting a video in the studio when it suddenly started to rain. Upon hearing the Thunder, he immediately thought of Guoguo, without a second thought leaving behind dozens of staff and his manager, rushing out of the studio without even grabbing an umbrella, driving straight to Vidorna Academy.
Fortunately, the security guard at the Girls' Dormitory Building was asleep in the stairwell; otherwise, Ouyang Qiming would not have been able to enter.
Now that it was getting light, fearing discovery by the security guard, Ouyang Qiming gently laid Guoguo down on the bed, covered her with a blanket, stood up, and looked at her tear-streaked face with a hint of tenderness in his eyes.
After a few seconds, he turned and stepped out of the dormitory, quietly closing the door behind him. He walked down the stairs and saw the security guard still snoring on the second floor, so he tiptoed past.
About two minutes later, a bright red sports car drove out of the gates of Vidorna Academy.
Not long after Ouyang Qiming left, a Silver Sports Car also exited the gates of Vidorna Academy, and the person inside was none other than Murong Xiuxian.
Murong Xiuxian knew that Guoguo was afraid of thunder and that she disliked him, but he couldn’t help but worry. He only felt relieved when he saw Ouyang Qiming drive away from Vidorna Academy.
Upon returning home, Murong Xiuxian looked exhausted. After changing into his pajamas in his room, he went to bed.
After Ouyang Qiming left Weidona Academy, he returned to the studio to continue the unfinished video shoot.

In late autumn, most of the plants on campus had withered. The branches and leaves of the maple trees swayed in the wind, and the yellow and red maple leaves danced in the cold breeze, slowly falling to the ground.
