"Then whose child am I?" Guoguo asked, looking confused.
After living together for seventeen years and calling him Dad for that long, she found out she was not his biological child.
Murong Xiuxian returned to the hospital room and sensed that the atmosphere was a bit strange.
"No matter if I'm your biological child or not, you are still my dad!" It didn't matter that they weren't biological parents. "Meals are getting cold; let's eat first."
Upon hearing this, Murong Xiuxian's deep eyes flashed with a hint of shock!
He said nothing more and quietly watched Guoguo feed Tang Zongchen.

"Child, why are you crying again?" Tang Zongchen's dry, rough hand seemed somewhat powerless as it trembled slightly while wiping away Guoguo's tears from her cheeks. "What are you crying for? There's nothing to cry about. If you want to find your biological parents, once Dad gets better, I'll accompany you to look for them."
Can he really be discharged from the hospital?

"Good child, don't cry anymore."
Seeing Guoguo cry so sadly, Murong Xiuxian really wanted to go up and hug her, to hold her close and become one with her.
"I'm not crying." She said she wasn't crying, but tears were still flowing.
"I'm sorry to you and your mom. I promise I won't gamble anymore. Be good and don't cry; if your eyes swell up from crying, you won't look pretty. Your senior is still watching."
Guoguo sniffled, trying hard to suppress her tears as she continued to feed Tang Zongchen.
After the meal, Tang Zongchen was tired and fell asleep.
"You just had surgery; I'll push you back to the ward to rest." Looking at Guoguo's pale, melancholic, and sad eyes, Murong Xiuxian felt a heaviness in his heart, and his breathing became somewhat labored.
"I don't want to go; I want to stay here with my dad," Guoguo insisted stubbornly.
"He's asleep. You should rest for a while. When he wakes up, I'll wake you." Murong Xiuxian felt a pang of heartache seeing Guoguo so stubborn.
"I'm not tired."
No matter what, Guoguo was unwilling to rest.
Murong Xiuxian had no choice but to stay with her; after all, Guoguo also had injuries on her legs and was still in a wheelchair, making it difficult for her to move.
"You haven't had breakfast yet. What do you want to eat? I can go buy it for you."
