Later, Sophia and Morris decided to first visit the renowned professional guild in Noah Continent. Their goal was to try to blend into a merchant mission team in order to safely travel to the north for an investigation. 0

But there was still a problem to solve before going to the guild, and that was the issue of identity. 0

"The black market should be just ahead in the underground passage not far from here," Morris whispered to Sophia, his blue eyes scanning the surroundings vigilantly. 0

The two of them made their way through narrow streets and eventually arrived at a run-down underground market. Here, everything had a price, just as Morris had said, and anything could be bought as long as the price was right. They successfully acquired two unknown identities, presenting themselves as a merchant and his assistant to the outside world. 0

"Are you sure this identity will allow us to seamlessly blend in with the merchant group without any doubt?" Sophia asked through telepathy, to avoid attracting any unnecessary attention. 0

"Trust me, the people here only care about trade and won't inquire too much about identities," Morris responded telepathically. He held fake identity documents and wore a relieved smile on his face. "This should solve the problem." 0

Although the cost is not cheap, the money accumulated by the two of them over the past five years, whether earned by themselves or given by the school, is enough to cover all the expenses for their travels. 0

Dressed in dark fabric clothing, the two blend in with the many people shuttling through the black market. The walls of the underground passage are damp, with occasional water droplets falling. Vendors selling all sorts of peculiar items shout out, and people move through, some even engaging in transactions that are clearly not meant for public knowledge. 0

Morris's mouth curled up slightly, as if he had discovered something rare, "This ring," he displayed an exquisite silver ring with mysterious engravings on the surface, named "Ring of Illusion," "will allow us to blend in seamlessly among them." 0

He handed the ring to Sophia, "This ring has the ability to disguise and conceal magical powers. When you wear it, you will immediately transform into the image stored within the ring. Additionally, it can mask your magical fluctuations, making you harder to detect." 0

Sophia carefully observed the ring, the carved patterns seemed to contain some kind of magical structure, making it impossible for people to look away. She put on the ring and felt a subtle heat flow through her body. The reflection in the mirror was no longer herself, but a completely different middle-aged merchant. 0

"Goodness, this is truly incredible!" Sophia exclaimed. 0

"Not bad, this was crafted by the top magician using rare elements and runes. Although it's pricey, it's definitely worth it," a new image appeared on Morris's face, he turned into a slightly older assistant. 0

"Now we look like an ordinary merchant and assistant, no one will notice us," Morris said confidently. 0

Sophia couldn't help but smile, feeling excited about this mission. "Alright, let's use these identities to blend into the merchant's group and find out more information about meteor." 0

"Of course," Morris responded with a smile. They set foot on the streets again, disappearing into the crowd of the underground market, stepping into the unknown adventure. 0

The guild's building is a huge stone structure, characterized by towering stone pillars and luxurious tapestries. It clearly embodies the majestic atmosphere of Western architecture, making both of them feel a bit nervous as they walk inside. 0

They stepped into the lobby of the professional union, where the soft light of the wall lamps reflected off the marble floor. Long wooden tables were arranged in the hall, behind which sat several union staff, each wearing a purple uniform with a golden union badge embroidered on it. 0

"Please fill out your career choices here," a staff member said, lightly tapping a stack of forms on the table. 0

"What profession should we choose?" Sophia asked. 0

"Don't be too rigid for now, the main thing is to avoid attention, the investigation will come later." Morris replied. 0

Morris chose the profession of "assassin" and also studied as a wizard; while Sophia chose to be an "alchemist" and also studied as a wizard. They wrote down their false identity names using delicate feather pens and thick ink: Morris wrote "Imo," and Sophia wrote "Nocin." After finishing, they handed the completed forms back to the front desk staff. 0

The staff briefly reviewed their completed forms, then took out a paper with a blue stamp from a wooden box filled with various documents and handed it to them. "Alright, with this proof, please choose the recruitment mission you want to participate in. As long as both parties sign the agreement, you can depart with them." 0

Morris took the paper and carefully examined the blue seal, which was shining as if it contained some magical power. He felt that it was not just a regular certificate, but also a ticket to an unknown world. 0

They left the recruitment center and entered a spacious hall. It was filled with various bulletin boards displaying all kinds of recruitment information: from finding missing people to defeating dangerous monsters, and even some adventures specifically seeking ancient magical weapons. 0

"Wow, this place is really luxurious," murmured Sophia, her eyes darting around like an explorer discovering a new continent. 0

"We don't have time to admire, we need to find the merchant caravan heading north," Morris said, his tone tense. 0

Sophia was drawn to a quest to "find the mysterious magic circle," as the legendary ancient city was said to be filled with relics of powerful magic and treasures. She hesitated for a moment, then glanced at Morris, who was also staring at the same notice. 0

"This will do. Let's pretend to be the followers of this team's merchant," Sophia suggested. 0

"It seems we are all interested in this mission at the same time," Morris said with a smile. 0

Sophia nodded, "Indeed, this mission not only allows us to gain valuable experience, but perhaps we can also find some clues." 0

"Alright, but we must first understand their schedule and plans," Morris took out a bottle of dew of life, gently opened the cap, and took a small sip. 0

"We need more information," Sophia said as she began to look for possible sources of information. 0

At that moment, a high-level mage walked by and suddenly stopped to smile at them. 0

"It seems like you are looking for some special mission information," the high-level mage gracefully approached them and spoke. 0

"Hi, I'm Hassak, a high-level nine-starlight mage. I would like to team up with you for the mission," Hassak said, reaching out his hand to express his goodwill. 0

Morris and Sophia glanced at each other. "I am Nosin, a merchant, and also an alchemist, as well as a wizard," said Sophia, reaching out to shake Hassak's hand. 0

"I am Imo, his assistant bodyguard, also a wizard," Morris introduced himself. 0

So the three of them walked to the notice board, tore off the mission sheet, and then returned to the recruitment center to hand it in along with their professional certificates to the staff. 0

"Is this the mission you've chosen?" The staff glanced at the mission sheet, then looked at them, seemingly evaluating whether they were capable of completing the mission. 0

"Yes, we are determined to take on this mission," Morris replied firmly. 0
