Shinichi and Rimi are in a picturesque small town, where the natural scenery is vastly different from that of mainland Japan, filled with rich ecology and diversity. The blooming flowers and lush greenery make it seem like a painting by nature, almost dreamlike.
They first entered a quaint-style inn, where the decorations inside exude an Eastern charm. The receptionist informed them that Shinichi's parents are currently not in their room, possibly out nearby enjoying the scenery.
"We need to find them quickly!" Rimi said anxiously, her lips trembling slightly and her eyes revealing a subtle but unmistakable concern.
At that moment, Right and Mi simultaneously issued a low-volume warning, almost like a whisper: "Our companions are nearby, with very weak breath."
Shinichi and Rimi immediately picked up their pace and entered the dense forest. They walked along a rugged path, with various plants lining both sides of the road, and some rare wild animals quietly observing them.
Finally, they found Shinichi's parents on a small hill. They were sitting on a large rock, with a vast sea in front of them.
"Dad, mom, are you both okay?" Shinichi quickly stepped forward, his expression full of concern.
Shinichi's parents looked surprised, as if they hadn't expected to meet him here.
"Oh, Shinichi, Rimi, what are you doing here?" Shinichi's father asked, furrowing his brow as if contemplating something.
Rimi glanced at Shinichi and nervously said, "We came to find you because there's something urgent. You should hurry back to the hotel."
At this moment, Right and Mi once again issued a low warning sound: "Our companion is in the grass below, not far from us."
Shinichi and Rimi glanced at each other, then Shinichi turned to his parents and said, "Mom, Dad, this time it's more serious, we didn't come to find you casually."
Shinichi's mother noticed their tension and asked, "What's wrong? You both look pale."
Shinichi glanced at Rimi, and they both knew they couldn't tell their parents everything to avoid unnecessary panic.
"We just received a message that there is a wanted criminal nearby, so we dared to come here to find you," Rimi said firmly.
"Really? Strange, why didn't we receive any message?" Shinichi's mother asked.
"It's true, it just happened. It's sparsely populated here, and it's late, so it's safer for us to stay in the hotel," Shinichi said.
Shinichi's parents realized the seriousness of the situation, so they quickly packed up their photography equipment and picnic gear, and followed Shinichi and Rimi towards the inn.

Just as it was preparing to launch an attack, it suddenly felt two strong auras approaching.

At that moment, Shinichi and Rimi hurried past with Shinichi's parents.
Parasite felt somewhat disappointed for not having chopped off the head of the woman wearing the hat and parasitizing her body. But at this moment, there was more vigilance on its face, guarding against the other two of its kind.
"Where should we go first?" asked Shinichi's mother.
"The inn should be the safest place. We can take a rest there and then decide what to do next," Rimi replied.
They quickly walked into the inn, and as soon as they sat down, Shinichi and Rimi's parasites, Right and Mi, suddenly issued warnings at the same time.
"There's a problem, the scent of our kind is getting closer," Mi said in a low voice.
"Are you ready?" Right asked nervously.
Shinichi and Rimi nodded silently, knowing that there might be a life-and-death duel coming up.
Shinichi and Rimi exchanged a tense glance, then once again emphasized to Shinichi's parents, "It's really not safe outside. Please don't come out of the room, we will also stay inside the room."
Shinichi's parents could no longer ignore their anxiety, so they immediately went back to wait inside the room.
"Thank you, Rimi. I don't know what would have happened if it weren't for you," Shinichi said with emotion.
Rimi smiled and replied, "No need to thank me, I'm also doing it to protect all of us."
"Let's go back to the room first, and you can come back after you've sorted things out," said the father.
"Be careful, both of you," the mother added with concern.
Shinichi and Rimi nodded, then quickly walked out of the inn, their hearts already tense to the extreme.
They arrived at a relatively secluded place, a small clearing surrounded by trees. Shinichi and Rimi stood in the center, while Right and Mi had already transformed into sharp blades.
"Our companions are nearby," Right warned.
Shinichi nodded, with a determined look in his eyes.
Rimi also nodded and said, " Mi, we must solve this problem and not let it threaten more people."
parasite sensed the presence of Shinichi and Rimi, knowing that this was its last chance. Its entire body of tentacles instantly transformed into multiple sharp blades, ready to launch an attack at any moment.
It slowly emerged from the woods, and before its eyes were Shinichi and Rimi, who looked like lambs to the slaughter.
"Woman, give me your body!" His eyes fixed on Rimi.
But at that moment, Shinichi and Rimi suddenly moved.
"Now!" Shinichi shouted, and Right's tentacles stabbed forward fiercely.
Parasite cleverly dodged the attack, but did not notice that Rimi and Mi were also in action.
"Bring it on!" Rimi said coldly. Mi's tentacles transformed into a giant blade, slashing towards the parasite with the force of thunder. The parasite urgently transformed, attempting to evade, but Mi's attack was too fast, cutting it in half with a single strike.
"We did it!" Rimi exclaimed excitedly as she looked at the fallen parasite.
Shinichi breathed a sigh of relief and said, "We did really well this time."
"Yeah," Rimi said solemnly.
They returned to the hotel and found Shinichi's parents, informing them that everything had been resolved.
"That's great, we were all very worried about you," said the father.
"Yes, you really gave us a scare," the mother also said.
After successfully bringing Shinichi's parents back safely, Rimi finally breathed a sigh of relief, luckily preventing the biggest tragedy in this manga.
Next, Izumi Shinichi's life also returned to normal.
However, one day, Shinichi's mother, Izumi Shikibu, received an important phone call.
Nobuko stood at the bedroom door, tightly gripping her phone, her gaze veiled with a faint mist.
She just spoke with her grandmother on the phone and learned that her grandfather's condition has reached a critical stage. This news felt like a heavy stone pressing on her heart, making it almost impossible for her to breathe.
"Nobuko, what's wrong with you? You look very serious," Yuki walked into the room and asked with a smile, but his smile quickly froze on his face.
Nobuko took a deep breath, bit her lower lip, and then forced out the words, "My grandfather is very ill. I need to go back to the countryside to see him immediately."
Ichino looked at Nobuko with concern and understanding in his eyes, "Then you should pack up quickly. Time may be running out."
Nobuko opened the wardrobe, quickly selected a few simple and comfortable clothes and some daily necessities, and stuffed them into a travel bag. In a corner of the cabinet, she saw a bottle of plum wine that her grandmother particularly liked. She hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to put it in the bag, hoping it would help ease the upcoming tense situation.
After finishing packing, Nobuko carried the travel bag to the living room, where Ichi and Shinichi were waiting for her.
"These days, I'm counting on you guys." Nobuko tried to smile, but couldn't hide the anxiety in their tone.
Shinichi stood up and walked to his mother, "Mom, you can rest assured. Dad and I will take good care of ourselves."
Ichi also stood up, placing a hand on Nobuko's shoulder. "Nobuko, everything will be okay. You just need to focus on accompanying Grandpa."
Nobuko nodded, walked to the door, then suddenly turned back and tightly hugged Ichi and Shinichi. "Thank you both. I love you."
"We love you too, Mom." Shinichi's voice was hoarse, clearly holding back emotions.
The moment the door closed, the atmosphere in the room suddenly became heavy. Shinichi looked out the window and said quietly, "Dad, I'm really worried about Grandpa and Mom. Do you think...?"
I walked up to him and gently patted his shoulder. "I know you're worried, and so am I. But all we can do is to let Nobuko do what she needs to do without worries."
Shinichi nodded.
Due to Rimi changing the original plot, she now has no idea about the future development and can only pray anxiously in her heart.
After all, she and Shinichi's parents cannot be together all the time, which will not only affect her studies, but also likely raise questions for Shinichi's parents.
In their ordinary daily life, Shinichi's father, Izumi Kazuyuki, is still busy with his work at the magazine company, while his mother, Izumi Shikibu, is not at home, taking care of her seriously ill grandfather in the countryside. Therefore, currently only Shinichi and his father are at home.
Izumi Shinichi sat on the sofa in the living room, casually switching TV channels with the remote control in his hand.

Shinichi put down the remote control and looked up at his father, "Not yet, how much longer until Mom comes back?"
His father shook his head, "Your mom might take a few days to come back this time. Grandpa's condition is not very good. Remember to eat, don't go hungry."
Shinichi nodded, "Alright, I'll go cook some instant noodles."
Shinichi stood in the kitchen and put the instant noodles into boiling water. At that moment, he suddenly remembered his father's unfinished document.
"Dad, is your document due tomorrow?" Shinichi asked while stirring instant noodles.
On the other end of the phone, Dad replied, "Oh, yes. It was originally due today, but because Mom isn't here, it's been extended to tomorrow."
Shinichi gave a slight smile and said, "Do you want me to help you take a look?"
