At nine o'clock the next morning, Madam Carolina and Qiluo Ling left Blycheno Manor by car. After an hour of driving, they arrived at Nickel Street in Warsaw City Center. 0

This was a bustling and wide street, lined with many shops on both sides, brightly lit and filled with a variety of goods. The car turned off the main street onto a quiet lane, revealing an old multi-story apartment building in pale blue and white. 0

"This is the apartment. At the end of this road is an Art Academy, so many students rent here. Don't worry, the area has very good security; there haven't been any criminal cases here for many years, so it's quite safe," Madam Carolina said, pointing out the window. 0

"Okay, it feels pretty good," Qiluo Ling replied. 0

The car stopped at the entrance of the apartment building, and Madam Carolina and Qiluo Ling got out. 0

Qiluo Ling looked around the apartment's surroundings. Perhaps due to its proximity to the Art Academy, there were many shops with a strong artistic atmosphere nearby, possibly to attract more customers or influenced by the environment. 0

They entered the apartment. The old building had four floors, with a pointed roof structure at the top. Madam Carolina and Qiluo Ling climbed the stairs to the top floor room and opened the door. 0

Rather than a room, it resembled an attic. Although not large, it was very tidy. The windows were tightly shut, and dim yellow light streamed through the rough glass panes. 0

Madam Carolina walked to the north-south facing window and opened the glass hidden beneath the green tiles. A rush of warm and fresh air immediately filled the room, creating a swirling breeze that swept away the long-hidden dampness. The strong sunlight brightened up the room as if it had accumulated warmth over time. 0

"A few months ago, a boy from the art department rented this room, but he stopped due to family reasons. Since this apartment is on the top floor, it looks a bit simple. If you think this place is okay, then you can move in," Madam Carolina said with a smile. 0

"I think this place is already great," Qiluo Ling said gratefully. 0

Madam Carolina handed her the key to the room and said, "The furnishings here are complete, so you don't need to add anything new. Everything is stored in the wardrobe. You can open it and take a look. Feel free to use anything you need; there's no need to be polite." 0

"Thank you," Qiluo Ling said. 0

"The living facilities nearby are quite complete. There is a supermarket downstairs, places to eat, as well as a bookstore and a café. The Art Academy is also very close; there are many galleries and private museums next to the academy. If you're interested, you can visit them when you have some free time," Madam Carolina said patiently. 0

Qiluo Ling nodded. 0

"I should be going now. If you need my help with anything, please feel free to call me. I will do my best to assist you." 0

"Okay, thank you." 0

"You're welcome," Madam Carolina smiled slightly and then left. 0

In the bright light, Qiluo Ling looked around the room again. There was a single bed, a simple desk, and an antique yellow wardrobe. Sunlight refracted through the glass and cast shadows on the floor, while a gentle breeze lightly swayed the white curtains that were drawn open, making it seem as if the entire room was swaying. 0

Qiluo Ling walked to the window, standing quietly and gazing outside. The city's rainy season had ended; the air was no longer humid, and the sunlight was half pure white and half shadowy. It mirrored her current mood—seemingly enlightened yet completely at a loss. The only certainty was that she had embarked on a journey to save herself from her doomed fate. 0

After standing for a while, Qiluo Ling suddenly thought of something. She went to the desk phone, picked up the receiver, and dialed a number. The phone rang twice before being answered. 0

"Hello, is this Liu Shiran?" 0

"It is. May I ask who you are?" the other party asked in confusion. 0

"This is Qiluo Ling. I wonder if you still remember me?" 0

"Of course I remember," the other person's voice suddenly became cheerful. "Where have you been during this time? You haven't contacted me, and I've been quite worried. Are you doing okay?" 0

"I'm doing just fine. I had to handle something very important by myself a while ago, which is why I didn't reach out to you. However, I'm back in Warsaw City Center now. Have your academic activities concluded?" 0

"Not yet, I still have several days left." 0

"I wonder if you have some free time? How about we have dinner together tonight?" 0

"Sure. I'm free tonight; do you mind if I bring a friend along?" 0

"Of course not." 0

"See you tonight." 0
