"Although I don't know the name of the painting or its author, I have a general idea of its content," Qiluo Ling said softly.
"Oh, then I'm curious to ask, what is the general content of that painting?" Jacques inquired.
"Although I haven't seen the painting, I know it should be a portrait of a young girl."
"There are many portraits featuring young girls. Since you haven't seen it, how can you be sure which specific portrait you are looking for?" Jacques asked again, puzzled.
"The young girl's arm in the portrait has a special mark. As soon as I see it, I will recognize it as the one I want," Qiluo Ling thought for a moment and replied.
Liu Shiran remained silent for a while and then asked, "Is that painting very important to you?"
"Yes, it's extremely important. That's why I paid Mr. Jacques to be my guide. After all, I'm not familiar with Warsaw City Center, and Mr. Jacques knows the routes to the galleries and museums. With him as my guide, I won't be wandering around like a headless chicken asking questions. Of course, the most important thing is..." Qiluo Ling said.
"What is the most important thing?" Liu Shiran asked.
"The most important thing is that I don't have much time. I only have five days to find the painting. If I can't find the portrait within five days, I will lose my life," Qiluo Ling said, trying to control her tone and downplaying her words.
Jacques and Liu Shiran were left speechless, their mouths agape for a long time.

After finishing their meal, the three of them left the restaurant and soon parted ways. At the moment of separation, Jacques looked at Qiluo Ling with a hint of confusion in his eyes, but he did not say anything.
Qiluo Ling walked back to the apartment along the street. On the way, Qiluo Ling passed by a small bookstore, went in, and bought two introductory books on painting. Upon returning to the apartment, Qiluo Ling spent the entire night reading them.
Starting from the next day, this art journey with a special mission began. Jacques took Qiluo Ling to various galleries and museums in Warsaw City Center.
Since Poland borders Germany to the west and connects with Russia and Lithuania to the east, Polish art has gradually established itself through the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures along with local civilization, building its own cultural diversity and developing into a unique style.
In the first couple of days, Jacques took Qiluo Ling to visit several larger galleries in the city. The galleries showcased modernist paintings, including portraits, ethnic customs, landscapes, and still lifes. Qiluo Ling walked around the galleries several times.
"Is there a painting you are looking for here?" Jacques asked.
Qiluo Ling shook his head.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"We can't search aimlessly like this. There are too many private galleries; searching one by one is like finding a needle in a haystack; the chances are too slim," Jacques thought for a moment and said.
"You make a good point. Do you have any better suggestions?" Qiluo Ling asked.
"Each gallery and small to medium-sized museum has its own unique collection, belonging to different styles. For example, this gallery collects modern works. Some galleries focus on Impressionism, Fauvism, Abstract art, and so on. What I mean to ask is, do you know what style of painting you are looking for?"
"Although I haven't seen the painting, I think the one I'm looking for should primarily be an objective representation rather than a subjective expression like those found in Impressionism, Fauvism, or Abstract art," Qiluo Ling said, applying the knowledge she had learned all night.
"Since you can be certain about that, we can narrow down our search further. If it is primarily an objective representation, then it belongs to the styles of Classicalism, Realism, or Romanticism. These works are mostly found in museums that are medium to large in size and were prevalent before the 20th century," Jacques said seriously.
That afternoon, the two went to the famous Modern Art Museum in the city center. This art museum is renowned for its extensive collection of Classical and Realist works.
The museum is located in the new district of Warsaw. The grand building has two floors, each over ten thousand square meters. The ceiling of the first floor is supported by pillars and beams, creating an expansive feeling that is almost overwhelming.
Inside the museum are displayed famous paintings, including works by Raffaelite Masters Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William Holman Hunt, and Rembrandt. Their techniques primarily belong to classical painting methods, with some bold direct approaches as well.
At that time, there were not many visitors, so they leisurely appreciated these masterpieces.
Qiluo Ling stood in front of a work by Rembrandt and was deeply captivated by "Jewish Bride."
In the painting, a man and a woman dressed in luxurious attire are depicted; the man's left hand gently rests on the woman's shoulder while her right hand lightly touches her abdomen and her left hand rests on his right hand, both sensing the tremor of life and love. The use of rich colors creates a beautiful, warm, and almost reverent atmosphere. The hands of both figures appear real and delicately textured under the vibrant hues, fully expressing the language of love.
Upon seeing this painting, Qiluo Ling felt an indescribable sensation; she inexplicably felt a flutter from her abdomen that suddenly reminded her of something...
