"I will first distract it. You find an opportunity to seal its magic with your staff." Morris A determined look flashed in his blue eyes.
"Understood." Sophia bit her lip, knowing that this battle was a matter of life and death.
Morris strode forward, a dark power releasing from his dagger as he shouted at the Dragonkin demon, "Come on, you beast!"
The Dragonkin demon roared in response, its massive claws swiping directly at Morris. In an instant, Morris used "Shadowfang" to carve an arc in the air, evading the Dragonkin demon's attack, but this was only the beginning of the battle.
Lyra began chanting the incantation for an ice spell, and ice pillars quickly shot up from the ground, attempting to slow down the movements of the Dragonkin demon. Fio, Lina, and Brit each cast their most powerful spells, trying to buy time for Sophia and Morris.
Sophia took a deep breath, and the blue light at the tip of her staff, "Key of the Celestial Realm," instantly became even more radiant as she began chanting an ancient sealing incantation.
"Sky, earth, and stars, by my name, be sealed!"
In an instant, a huge blue beam of light shot out from the staff, directly towards the Dragonkin demon. When the beam made contact with the Dragonkin demon, its entire body was enveloped in a layer of blue light, rendering it completely immobile for a moment.
"Good job!" Morris took the opportunity to gradually seal its magic power with the magic effect of "Shadowfang".
The fierce eyes of this nine-star Dragonkin demon were originally chaotic and unclear, but at this moment, as it looked up at Morris, the light in its eyes became gentle, as if questioning why it was being treated this way.
This change surprised Morris, causing him to slow down the sealing process and exchange a glance with Sophia. Sophia realized that this Dragonkin demon might not be the vicious creature they originally thought, but rather had its own unique personality and emotions.

"Thank you, young sorcerers," Dragonkin demon conveyed his gratitude to them through telepathy, "My name is Thanos, and I am the guardian of this land."
Morris and Sophia were both shocked to learn that the nine-star Dragonkin demon was named Thanos and was actually the guardian of this land.
Morris took a deep breath and approached Thanos, saying, "Thanos, we would like to make a pact with you and become your permanent friends and allies."
Thanos looked at them, seemingly evaluating their strength and intentions, with mysterious light shimmering in his eyes, deep like the starry sky.
Finally, it extended its dragon claw and touched the "Shadowfang" dagger in Morris's hand. The moment the dragon claw and the dagger made contact, a faint black light instantly spread out, as if confirming an invisible pact between the two. "The pact is sealed," Thanos growled, his voice like an ancient war drum, resonating in the soul.
Between Thanos's words, the dark power on the dagger seemed to be activated in some way, becoming brighter and stronger from its original faint black glow. Morris could feel a deeper connection between himself and "Shadowfang."
The mercenaries and merchants of the caravan were all extremely shocked, dumbfounded as if they had lost the ability to speak. In their minds, dragons were extremely proud and dangerous creatures, impossible to easily make a contract with humans. But before their eyes, all of this became a reality.
Despite Morris's efforts to conceal his true strength while battling Thanos, using various tactics and techniques to wear down his opponent, the immense power hidden beneath the surface still sent shivers down everyone's spine.
Strangely, the caravan did not become suspicious or spread rumors as a result. Instead, a sense of almost reverence surrounded Morris and Sophia.
"They suddenly became like invisible guardians of the caravan, a powerful presence that could challenge and even defeat the dragon race.
"What do you think?" Sophia turned to him, her blue eyes filled with curiosity and inquiry."
"This is definitely a mind-blowing experience. I never thought I would see a dragon, let alone be the one to make a pact with it," Morris's blue eyes sparkled with the same curiosity and amazement.
After a bloody and intense battle, Morris and Sophia successfully gained the respect and trust of their team members.
From initial distrust to current reverence, the whole team seems to have accepted Morris and Sophia as part of it, and no one seems to hold too much suspicion towards the two anymore.
Of course, for most people, this has gone unnoticed. But it has not escaped the sharp eyes of their colleague, Hassad.
Standing in the distant shadows, Hassad's gaze was firmly fixed on Morris and Sophia.
He smiled slightly, his smile filled with profound and unfathomable meaning. Indeed, he had discovered something that piqued his strong interest.
