Huxin coldly regarded Jing Tian'ao, who was walking at the front. Their eyes met; hers were frosty and chilling, his were icy and ruthless. Huxin couldn't help but sigh at the shamelessness of Jing Tian'ao, who thought he could overturn everything with just a few words! While others in the Vast Continent regarded him as extraordinary, Xia Huxin certainly did not take him seriously!
Upon seeing Jing Tian'ao arrive, Consort Mei immediately relaxed. Remembering how she had been insulted by Xuan Yuan Ling and pressured by Huxin earlier, Consort Mei felt a surge of indignation. She quickly covered her face with a handkerchief and began to cry softly.

Consort Mei cried with trembling beauty; the previously sinister expression on her face had transformed into that of a weak and helpless woman. However, he had chosen to speak now rather than earlier or later, conveniently appearing just as Huxin had cornered Consort Mei and Le Yi into a dead end, giving them a chance to breathe. It was clear he intended to absolve them.
Huxin sneered inwardly, though her face bore a faint smile.
Jing Tian'ao wants to help Consort Mei and Le Yi escape their charges? Dream on! The move she had set up today could only be executed by her! No one could shake it even slightly!
"Prince Ping, is there anything more to discuss? Xia Huxin has always been arrogant and overbearing, disregarding others. Who in the Vast Continent does not know this?
