Xia Yingba had too many complex meanings in his eyes, and Huxin remained silent upon seeing him.
"Yao Tai." Liu Yuren spoke in a low voice as he saw Yao Tai approaching him.

Huxin coldly observed the scene before her. Xia Yingba signaled her not to respond; they would wait and see how things unfolded.
The Queen, who had just changed into a new outfit, also appeared outside the Secret Prison. With ample light outside, Huxin noticed that both the Empress Dowager and the Queen seemed to have another layer of strange emotions in their eyes.
"Empress Dowager! You cannot let this filthy girl go! The Emperor's life is still in National Master's hands!"
"Shut up! Does this Empress Dowager need your interference? Who said National Master has taken the Emperor hostage? Someone! Slap the Queen!"
The Empress Dowager's expression changed drastically as she summoned a personal eunuch.
