"Are humans still so arrogant," Inuyasha said coldly, with a hint of disdain at the corner of his mouth.
The young man painfully got up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and angrily questioned, "What did you do?!"
"Ask yourself." Kagome walked over, rolled her eyes, and said to the young man.
"I'm Ahong." The young man wiped his face and said with a wry smile, "The thing is, Flowers Village was fine at first, but every now and then, when the flowers bloom and pollinate, the people in the village all turn into that."
"You mean the huge flower demon you mentioned just now?" Shippo asked, wagging its tail with curiosity.
"Yes, it forms and solidifies every time, but soon after, it disappears. This phenomenon keeps happening here repeatedly," Ah Hong said, with a hint of contemplation on his face.
Kagome Ahong frowned slightly and said, "That's strange, why aren't you like them?"
Ahong forced a smile and replied, "I thought it was strange at first too. Later, I thought maybe it's because I don't have a sense of smell, so that's why I escaped unharmed."
Bosaku Sei stood quietly on the side and suddenly spoke, "If that's the case, then this whole thing might be related to the sense of smell."
Everyone gathered in a simple wooden hut, the light inside the hut was yellowish, flickering from time to time, adding a somewhat eerie atmosphere.
You took out a small bottle containing some crystal-clear liquid.
"This is the essence I extracted from the flower, maybe it can help us find some clues," You explained carefully while dropping the liquid onto a stone.
The stone suddenly emitted a dazzling light, then slowly became transparent, and finally turned into a wisp of smoke.
"Hmm, there's definitely something wrong in here." You frowned, looking very serious.
"It looks like we need to investigate this village more deeply," Sesshomaru said in a calm tone, but his eyes revealed a hint of seriousness.
As the night grew darker, everyone returned to their lodgings. Sesshomaru sat alone by the window, pondering the secrets behind all of this. Suddenly, he felt a warmth and turned to see Rin leaning against him, smiling.
"What are you thinking about?" Rin asked gently.
"About Flowers Village," Sesshomaru replied, with a hint of tenderness on his face.
The night was already deep, but suddenly there were urgent footsteps coming from Flowers Village. Inuyasha suddenly sat up and leaped out of the window.
"What's going on?" Shippo followed sleepily.
"I don't know, but we have to go check it out." Inuyasha hurried away and soon arrived at the source of the sound.
Under the moonlight, a group of villagers is dancing on the grass, their eyes vacant as if they were hypnotized. What's even more astonishing is that they are surrounding the enormous flower demon that appeared before.
"Damn, it's back again!" Inuyasha tightly grips the Tessaiga and roars as he charges forward.
"Wait, this time is different!" Ah Hong suddenly appeared and shouted.
Inuyasha suddenly stopped, only to see the flower demon suddenly emit a beam of light, instantly sucking all the villagers in.
"What... What's going on?" Shippo stood there dumbfounded.
"We're running out of time, we must act quickly!" Bosaku Sei tightly gripped the sword in his hand, looking determined.
Sesshomaru and Rin also rushed over and were shocked to see this scene.
"No time to explain, we have to stop this quickly!" Inuyasha roared, brandishing Tessaiga, a beam of light pierced the sky and shot directly towards the huge flower demon.
flower demon let out a miserable scream, slowly began to disintegrate, and finally turned into a cloud of smoke, disappearing into the earth.
The people who had just been swallowed were also all spit out.
"It's finally over," Ahong sighed, a hint of exhaustion on his face.
"No, the demon energy still remains," Sesshomaru said coldly, his gaze unwavering.
"Anyway, we need to find the hiding place of the flower demon first," said Bosaku Sei firmly, with a determined look.
"Yeah, and we can't let the villagers be swallowed up, such a thing should not happen again," You nodded, with a determined look.
In the following six days, everyone conducted a thorough investigation into the phenomenon of Flowers Village, but the results were disappointing.
The only thing that feels abnormal is that Rin is getting increasingly clingy to Sesshomaru.
"Does this child feel that something is not right here?" Sesshomaru looked at the moonlight outside the window, feeling puzzled. Although coming from the current child, these words always sounded a bit discordant.
"Maybe she can feel the eerie energy here and feels uneasy," You guessed.
At that moment, the familiar sound of music and dancing came from a distance again, as if the villagers had started dancing around the strange flowers once more.
"Not good, here we go again!" Inuyasha suddenly stood up, grabbed the Tessaiga, and dashed out at full speed.
The moonlight illuminated the grassland, and the villagers' dance became increasingly frenzied. Their eyes were vacant and bewildered, completely devoid of consciousness. The massive flower demon at the center seemed to grow even more lush, and began emitting a strange glow.
"Look at me!" Inuyasha roared and raised the Tessaiga high, a beam of light tore through the night sky and headed straight for the flower demon.
But at that moment, Inuyasha suddenly felt something was wrong. He turned around and found that everyone was gone.
In an instant, everything around him became blurry, and Inuyasha felt a strong dizziness, as if a giant hand was tightly gripping and pressing down on his entire mind.
When this force disappeared, he found himself in a strange yet familiar environment.
He was in a beautiful garden, surrounded by colorful flowers and lush green trees, with a faint floral scent lingering in the air.
Inuyasha looked up and saw himself as a six-year-old. He was being tightly embraced by a tall, powerful man, who was none other than his almost forgotten father, the Great Dog Demon.
"Child, when you grow up, you will surely become a great warrior, just like your father," the Great Dog Demon said with deep affection in his eyes as he looked at young Inuyasha, as if conveying endless love and expectations to him.
Next to him stood an incomparably beautiful woman, his mother - Izayoi. Her eyes were filled with love and tenderness, as if she could heal all pain and unease.
"You are our pride, wherever you go, we will always be in your heart," Izayoi said gently, then approached and gently stroked little Inuyasha's hair.
Inuyasha felt a familiar yet unfamiliar emotion welling up in his heart. He knew that all of this was an illusion, but the emotion was so real that he almost couldn't help but shed tears.
"All of this is fake, it didn't happen in reality." Inuyasha suddenly felt a tightness in his heart and forced himself back to reality.
At that moment, he felt a strong demonic energy coming from a distance. Inuyasha instantly understood that this was the key to controlling the illusion.
"If I can cut off this demonic energy, maybe I can lead everyone out of this illusion," thought Inuyasha.
He tightly grasped the iron fragment in his hand, focused all his strength, and then raised it high. A dazzling light cut through this beautiful yet false world.
With a loud noise, the entire illusion collapsed in an instant, and Inuyasha felt a lightness in his body, then returned to the real world of Flowers Village.
