As the waves of the Styx gently swayed, the moonlight spilled like a galaxy, shining on the ancient Underworld. In the palace, the candlelight was brilliant, as if adding a sense of mystery and solemnity to the upcoming ceremony.
Zhang Jin, led by a maid, slowly entered the hall. She was dressed in a bright red wedding gown, with exquisite makeup and a dazzling phoenix crown on her head, every step seeming particularly heavy. Her eyes were hollow, but every detail indicated the reality of her impending role as the new bride of the underworld.
Han Che and Yun Yan stood quietly on the side, their faces no longer showing the previous battle spirit, but instead a kind of powerless sadness. They understood that once the ritual was completed, Zhang Jin would forever remain in the underworld, becoming the new bride of the Underworld deity.
The Underworld deity stood up and walked towards Zhang Jin, his movements graceful and unhurried. He stood in front of Zhang Jin, gently lifting her chin to align her gaze with his own.
"You will become my wife and together we will rule the underworld," the voice of the underworld deity was deep and charming, but behind this seduction, there was an irresistible command.
Zhang Jin's lips trembled slightly. She wanted to say something, but in the end, she just nodded silently. She knew she had no choice. Her fate had already been woven into this ancient mystery.
At the other end of the hall, an altar has been set up, with blue flames burning on it, emitting an eerie light. Around the altar, mysterious runes shimmer on the ground, seemingly calling upon some ancient power.
Underworld deity takes Zhang Jin's hand and leads her towards the altar. Their footsteps on the stone slabs of the altar echo heavily, each step feeling like a weight on Zhang Jin's heart.
When they arrived at the altar, Underworld deity turned around to face the numerous Soul guardian and subjects of the underworld. He raised Zhang Jin's hand high and declared her as the future mistress of the underworld.
Then, Underworld deity began chanting ancient and mysterious incantations, his voice echoing through the hall like waves. As his chanting grew faster, those runes began to emit even more dazzling light, causing the entire hall to tremble.
Zhang Jin felt a powerful force surging towards her from all directions, a force so strong and profound that it penetrated her soul, making her feel both scared and excited.
At the climax of the ritual, the Underworld deity suddenly stopped chanting, and the entire hall fell into a deathly silence. Only the blue flames danced quietly in the still air, casting an even paler hue on Zhang Jin's face.
At this moment, Zhang Jin felt as if her body was firmly controlled by some mysterious force. Her heartbeat accelerated as the ritual progressed, and she felt as if she were trapped in a nightmare, unable to break free.
The Underworld deity gazed at her, his eyes shimmering with complex emotions. He reached out and touched Zhang Jin's cheek, his fingers cold and gentle, with a barely perceptible tremble.
"You don't have to be afraid," the voice of the underworld deity was low and gentle, "I will give you an eternity different from mortals."
Zhang Jin's pupils slightly dilated. She wanted to resist, to struggle, but she found that she couldn't muster any strength. A hint of despair flashed in her eyes, but it was quickly replaced by determination.
Fate may be predetermined, but she will never succumb to it.
Just as Zhang Jin struggled deep within, searching for one last ounce of resistance, Underworld deity slowly lowered his head, his lips nearing Zhang Jin's cheek.
Zhang Jin felt a cold breath, her heart pounding, fear and rejection intertwining in her mind.
The lips of the Underworld deity touched Zhang Jin's, cold and soft. Zhang Jin stiffened, her hands instinctively trying to push him away, but she found her arms bound by invisible chains, unable to move.
"No, let me go!" Zhang Jin screamed in her mind, but her lips couldn't make a sound. She felt her consciousness gradually fading, the sense of powerlessness making her desperate.
The Underworld deity's hands wrapped around Zhang Jin's waist, pulling her closer to him. His kiss became more intense, as if he wanted to completely devour her. Zhang Jin felt a suffocating pressure, her heart pounding wildly as she struggled to find one last bit of resistance within herself.
Her hands finally lifted and pushed against the Underworld deity, trying to break free from the restraint, but the deity's power seemed endless, and her struggle felt futile. She felt the deity's breath on her cheek, cold and heavy.
Zhang Jin felt a tremendous force emanating from the Underworld deity, coursing through her body, causing an indescribable pain and fear.
She felt her soul as if it were about to be pulled out of her body, drifting into the endless darkness.
But at that moment, an unexpected beam of light descended from the sky, illuminating the entire hall. Within that light was a powerful force that broke through the spell of the Underworld deity, freeing Zhang Jin from the constraints.
Zhang Jin felt her body regain freedom, she took a deep breath, and her eyes sparkled with determination.
She quickly looked around and found that the source of the light was a huge crystal ball at the top of the hall, which seemed to contain a power not belonging to this world.
Underworld deity showed a shocked expression on his face, a situation he had never expected.
He roared and raised his hand again, trying to regain control of the situation. However, the mysterious light seemed to provide Zhang Jin with special protection, shielding her from his influence.
In a corner of the hall, there was a slight movement. Han Che and Yun Yan also felt the change, and their bodies gradually regained mobility. They quickly rushed to Zhang Jin's side, forming a protective circle.
Han Che's eyes flashed with anger, and he quickly pounced towards Underworld deity, attempting to rescue Zhang Jin.
"Let her go!" Han Che roared, his sword pointing directly at Underworld deity.
Underworld deity was disturbed and turned around in surprise, only to see the Han Che tip of a sword pointed at him. At that moment, Zhang Jin finally regained a bit of strength, quickly stepped back, and distanced herself from Underworld deity.
Yun Yan also hurried forward, supporting the swaying Zhang Jin, and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
Zhang Jin nodded vigorously, a hint of determination flashing in her eyes: "I'm fine, we can't just give in like this."
Underworld deity watched this scene with a hint of displeasure in his eyes. He turned to face Han Che and Yun Yan, his voice carrying indifference: "You have obstructed the ritual of the underworld, this is disrespectful to the God of the Underworld."
Han Che Holding the sword tightly in hand, fearlessly responding, "We would rather face the wrath of the God of the Underworld than let Zhang Jin come to harm."
Yun Yan also stood by Zhang Jin, her gaze determined, "We will always be together, no matter what we face."
