While Evan was lost in thought, a slight commotion at the door interrupted his train of thought. He looked up to see a familiar figure, Michelle, entering the café with a group of friends.

Michelle nodded, her eyes revealing a pleasant surprise at Evan's transformation. "You too, Evan. You look like you've cast all your worries aside."

Michelle sat down and chatted with Evan about recent developments. She talked about her relationship with David, as well as her recent work and life. Evan shared about the community activities he's been involved in, as well as some of his future plans.
"It sounds like you've been very fulfilled lately, Evan," Michelle's eyes were full of admiration.
Evan nodded, "Yes, I have learned to see life from a new perspective and found the motivation to move forward."

Just then, Michelle's phone vibrated. She took it out, glanced at the screen, and a subtle expression appeared on her face. Evan noticed this change and asked, "Is everything okay?"
"It's David. He asked me when I'll be coming home," Michelle sighed softly, seeming to struggle a bit.
Evan nodded slightly, his voice tinged with a hint of regret. "Then I won't disturb you. I hope we can still have a chance to chat like this in the future."
Michelle stood up, with a grateful smile on her face: "Of course there will be, Evan. Thank you for your time today."
Evan watched Michelle leave, his heart filled with complex emotions.

"Evan, do you have any plans for the future?" Michelle asked curiously.
Evan stopped in his tracks, gazing into Michelle's eyes, and replied firmly, "I hope to continue helping the community and also find someone to truly share life with."
Michelle's heart skipped a beat as she felt Evan's eyes filled with sincerity and anticipation. She let out a soft sigh as her emotions became increasingly complex.
"Evan, I..." Michelle was about to speak when her phone suddenly rang. It was David calling.
Evan noticed and said with a smile, "You should answer the phone."
Michelle nodded and answered the phone. After the call, she said to Evan, "Sorry, I have to go. David is waiting for me."
Evan nodded, his smile masking the disappointment in his heart. "Of course, I wish you all a pleasant evening," he said.
Michelle hesitated for a moment, then turned and walked away.
She walked in the night, her heart filled with contradictions and contemplation. Evan's changes and maturity gave her a new perspective on him, but at the same time, she was aware of her relationship with David, and the past hurt was still vivid. Michelle shook her head, stopped thinking about it, and continued walking forward.
Evan stood alone on the street, watching Michelle's figure disappear into the crowd.

At night, Taipei city is still bustling, with flashing lights and people coming and going.
