Standing up, Green Qi looked at the figure turning to go upstairs, slightly stunned for a moment, then put down the magazine in her hand and followed him upstairs.
"Which room is yours?" Jiang Chengmu asked lazily.
"The first room on the left is the guest room; you will stay there tonight!" Green Qi answered, her tone leaving no room for doubt.
At the Jiang Family Old Residence, she had no choice but to share a room, and to avoid awkwardness, she often had to sleep on the sofa. Now that she was at her own home, with plenty of rooms and no outsiders around, there was no need to suffer by sharing a room.
Jiang Chengmu felt frustrated but couldn't express it. He smirked slightly but remained silent, simply walking toward the guest room and pushing the door open.
Green Qi turned and entered her room. The guest room door closed behind her and then opened again; the man's dark eyes watched her back with a hint of contemplation.
After just finishing a shower, there was a persistent knocking at the door. Green Qi initially wanted to pretend to be asleep and ignore him, but the man outside was relentless, showing no signs of stopping until she opened the door.
A mournful voice floated in: "Wife, open the door... open the door, wife..."
Wiping her hair dry, Green Qi opened the door with a cold expression. Taking a deep breath while looking into his deep-set eyes, she asked lightly, "What is it now?"
Standing at the door, Jiang Chengmu was momentarily taken aback. The woman before him wore a sexy black spaghetti strap dress that he had never seen on her before.
The air was filled with an almost imperceptible fragrance from her, and her slender figure was undeniably graceful. The droplets of water from her hair trickled down her neck...

Jiang Chengmu frowned and cleared his throat awkwardly. "Wrapping yourself up so tightly isn't going to prevent rashes. Besides, you don't have much to show off."
"If you don't speak, I'm closing the door!" Green Qi gritted her teeth.
"Is there food at home? I'm hungry!" Jiang Chengmu said innocently.
"Do I have to take care of your meals too?"
"You are my wife; you have the obligation to take care of my food and shelter!" Jiang Chengmu stated with righteous indignation.
"I'm not your housekeeper. Besides, we are in a Agreement marriage; I have no obligation to cook."
"Fine, anyway, we're going back to Jiang Residence tomorrow. I don't mind staying there a few more days!"
"You can stay as long as you want, as long as you can handle facing Madam Jiang!" She didn't believe he would enjoy that.
Returning to the Jiang Residence was not a pleasant experience for them either. Although Madam Jiang was polite to her, Mrs. Jiang had never liked her. Jiang Chengmu found it difficult to play along with her in front of the elders.
