Green Qi lowered her head in frustration while Mu Tongzi continued to stare at her. Neither of them spoke, breaking the unusual silence, and an awkward atmosphere surged in the carriage.
She lifted her head and stole a glance. Being so close, she could clearly see his thick, long eyelashes and his sculpted features that seemed chiseled. His deep-set eyes were dark and cold, especially with an innate aura that was elegant and noble, impossible to ignore.
But those eyes held no warmth; they were flat and emotionless.
This man could conceal his inner thoughts at any time, making it impossible for anyone to discern his true feelings. Such a man was indeed very attractive but also very dangerous.
Many people can be understood through their faces; some through their eyes. But this man was inscrutable through both.
Green Qi blinked innocently with a stiff smile. "Didn't you say I should please you? Is this not what you meant by pleasing?"
With a slight frown, he chuckled softly, his deep eyes glinting with an obscure light. "For your dad, you're really willing to do anything!"
"Mu Zong, when a person is at the end of their rope, they can do anything, can't they?" She let out a bitter laugh, calming the turmoil in her eyes, and raised her head to look at him defiantly. "Do you want to continue?"
He quietly gazed at her stubborn little face, clearly feeling wronged yet forcing herself to endure for the sake of her remaining pride. Her stubborn demeanor successfully stirred his sympathy.
Suddenly, he reached out and grasped her chin, leaning down to kiss her. Green Qi was caught off guard by the sudden assault, her eyes widening as she stared at the man invading her mouth. The strong scent of masculinity overwhelmed her, leaving her mind blank.
While she was momentarily stunned, Mu Tongzi suddenly flipped over and pinned her beneath him. The weight on her body rendered her immobile, and her frantic struggles were met with his relentless kiss.
His cool lips swept back and forth over her red ones, the fragrant and sweet taste lingering between their lips. The desire within her was ignited as she met his furious Eyes, which only fueled his anger.
He bit down gently on her soft lips, forcefully prying open her teeth with his tongue, entwining it with her delicate little tongue.
The aggressive way he seemed to want to swallow her whole made her unable to help but struggle to escape. Yet no matter how hard she tried, her body remained trapped in his embrace.
But thinking of the purpose for seeking him out, she suddenly felt that her struggles were pretentious.
