Listening to them discuss business matters, Green Qi felt confused and couldn't find a way to interject.
Most of the time, it was Old Man Gu speaking, while Mu Tongzi quietly listened, occasionally chiming in to express his unique views and opinions. His precise words and distinctive insights effortlessly earned him the admiration of the old man.
For a listed company like Mu Group to be willing to collaborate with a small company like Wind Dust Group was undoubtedly unimaginable for Old Man Gu. With the Resort bidding approaching and Wind Dust Group's financial situation concerning, Mu Tongzi's willingness to cooperate with them spoke volumes about his leadership qualities and unique vision, which were incomparable to ordinary individuals.
Propping his chin on his hand, Green Qi observed the man beside him. He was slightly turned away, listening intently to Old Man Gu's words. His handsome face was serious and earnest; even the smallest movements reflected an innate refinement.
A young man like him, who was noble in demeanor, accomplished yet unpretentious, was surely someone Old Man Gu appreciated.
After today's meal, Old Man Gu would likely admire him even more. This admiration was entirely different from how he previously regarded Jiang Chengmu.
Compared to Mu Tongzi, Jiang Chengmu had absorbed too many negative traits typical of wealthy heirs. In contrast, Mu Tongzi's maturity and elegance could only be cultivated within prestigious families; that level of refinement and poise was something Jiang Chengmu could never match.
The Quiet Private Room was exceptionally harmonious, with only the soft voices of Mu Tongzi and Old Man Gu filling the air.
When the dishes were served, the manager of Taibai Pavilion personally led a group of waitstaff to deliver them upon hearing that Mu Tongzi was in the private room.
"Mu Zong, long time no see! I just heard you were here. If there’s anything lacking in our hospitality, I hope you can forgive us!"
The manager politely extended his hand for a handshake. It seemed that Mu Tongzi was certainly a VIP guest at Taibai Pavilion; otherwise, the manager wouldn't be so respectful.
"Manager Shi, no need for such formality. I just came here for a meal today; I didn't expect to trouble you," Mu Tongzi said with a smile as he stood up to shake hands. During their pleasantries, he also introduced the two people standing beside him who had also risen: "This is Gu Zong from Wind Dust Group, and this is Miss Gu."
"Welcome to Taibai Pavilion!" Manager Shi smiled and shook hands with the two, then turned to instruct the waiter to serve the dishes. He politely looked at Mu Tongzi and said, "We just received a batch of Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs today; you should try some fresh ones!"
"Sure!" Mu Tongzi nodded in agreement. "In a couple of days, I need to invite a leader from the city for dinner. He has always liked the flavors at Taibai Pavilion, so I will trouble Manager Shi to make arrangements."
"No problem! It is our honor at Taibai Pavilion. I will have a private room prepared for you later, and we look forward to your visit!" Since Mu Group was hosting an important leader from the city, Taibai Pavilion naturally could not be careless!
"Thank you, Manager Shi!"
Mu Tongzi was just here for a simple meal today, so he didn't want to engage in drinking like he usually did during social gatherings. He smiled and said, "Mu Zong is too polite! If you need anything, just let me know. I won't disturb your meal any longer!"
Politely nodding, Manager Shi left the private room with the waiter who had finished serving the dishes.
Standing aside, Green Qi watched Mu Tongzi's elegant demeanor and couldn't help but sigh. She had always thought of him as someone high above others, but she didn't expect him to be so at ease in social situations, appearing so approachable. His gentle demeanor as a refined young master seemed less imposing and more attractive instead.
