"I was just wondering, will the upcoming Architectural Design Competition be handled by Vice President Yue or will I continue to be in charge?" As she spoke, she turned to look at the man in the Chairman's Seat, waiting for his response.
Yue Qingchen glanced at her coolly, "Since I have taken office, it will naturally be my responsibility!"
"Alright then..." Green Qi nodded, not saying much more, lowering her head to continue looking at the documents in her hands. Unexpectedly, the man in the Chairman's Seat interjected.
"This time, the architectural Design Competition will still be overseen by Director Gu. You have just taken office and are not familiar with many of the operations; you should take some time to learn more." After directly issuing the command, Mu Tongzi added lightly, "This global Design Competition has already been in preparation for a while by Director Gu and several other Directors. You can't just come in and take credit right away."
"President is right, I understand!" Even though she was unwilling, in front of so many executives, Yue Qingchen could only swallow her dissatisfaction and nodded in agreement.
She had just arrived, so she needed to maintain appearances; being too harsh would only provoke resistance from the executives. How could she then confront Gu Lvq Qi?
Putting away her notebook and documents, Mu Tongzi glanced at Yue Qingchen indifferently. "You all can handle the rest of the meeting yourselves; I have other matters to attend to. I'm leaving now!" With that, he stood up and turned to exit the conference room.
