She had always thought she would eventually marry into the Jiang family in glory until a few days ago when Jiang Chengmu suddenly broke up with her. If it weren't for Gu Lvq Qi's confident tone just now making her realize that Jiang Chengmu truly didn't want a divorce, she might still think he was joking when he said they should break up.
He likes Gu Lvq Qi, so what should she do? She had given up so much for her, even climbing up the social ladder by any means necessary—all just to sit in Mrs. Jiang's position.

Raising her hand, she checked the time on her Watch, then looked at the direction of the surveillance camera's rotating lens. She quickly chased after it on the circular staircase. Hearing hurried footsteps behind her, Green Qi paused and turned around to see Lu Manqing suddenly reaching out to grab her. She was momentarily stunned but quickly reached out to grasp her arm.
Just as she stabilized her descending body, Lu Manqing suddenly let go of her hand and slid down the stairs. She realized what was happening in an instant, her heart racing as she quickly ran down the stairs to grab her, but was caught by Lu Manqing instead. Unable to steady herself, both of them tumbled down the stairs together!
Hearing the noise, everyone in the lobby was startled. The security guards who reacted quickly rushed toward the staircase. At that moment, a group of reporters and fans took advantage of the chaos and surged in. The security guards stationed at the entrance quickly split into two teams to maintain order on either side of the lobby.
Two security guards helped the two who had rolled down the stairs to their feet, nervously using their earpieces to notify the outside security to prepare a vehicle for the hospital.
Feeling dizzy, Green Qi took a while to regain her senses from the pain. She opened her eyes and looked at Lu Manqing, who had already fainted beside her, her white dress stained red with blood.
She gasped sharply, her pupils dilating. The circular staircase wasn't steep, and there was a carpet laid on it; it was only because she was pregnant that things had turned out so badly.
The fans and media who had rushed in were momentarily stunned by this sudden scene. By the time they regained their composure, flashes of cameras began to go off incessantly.

The man tilted his head sharply and turned around, his piercing gaze sweeping down to see the woman with blood streaming from her forehead. His expression changed drastically as he pushed the documents he was holding into Xia Yu's arms and hurriedly ran downstairs.
As he rushed down, he forcefully pushed aside a security guard supporting Green Qi and urgently pulled the dizzy woman into his embrace, anxiously looking at her while tremblingly brushing aside her hair matted with blood. “Qiqi! Qiqi, wake up!”

“What are you still standing there for? Quickly prepare a vehicle for the hospital!” He glanced at Lu Manqing in another guard's arms and frowned slightly. “Get her sent to the hospital too!”
“Yes! A car is already on its way!” one security guard replied while another urged through his earpiece.
The outside security finally came in; several people helped carry Lu Manqing out of the lobby. Meanwhile, her manager Hong Jie shot Green Qi a fierce glare before hurriedly following after them.
Fans followed out of the lobby, and the already noisy hall became even more chaotic.
The Lobby Manager hurried over, and upon seeing the chaotic scene and the President holding the injured person, he felt a rush of blood and nearly fainted. In a panic, he rushed forward, looking helplessly at Mu Tongzi, then at Xia Yu who had followed them down the stairs. "President, what happened..."
"Quickly clean up this mess! Also, I want to know what happened!" Mu Tongzi shouted softly while picking up the unconscious woman from the floor. "Xia Yu, go get the car!"
"Yes!" Xia Yu quickly ran outside, no longer paying attention to the group of business elites still stunned on the stairs.
After getting into the car with Green Qi, Mu Tongzi looked up at Xia Yu in the driver's seat, his cold voice carrying a hint of urgency: "Drive faster!"
"Yes!" Xia Yu responded and started the car, swiftly turning the steering wheel to drive away from the hotel entrance.
They sped along the road, ignoring several red lights. He focused on driving and didn't dare look back.
In the back seat, Mu Tongzi dialed the hospital's number on his phone. As soon as it connected, he spoke urgently: "Hua Liunian, something happened here. Hurry to the hospital entrance; it might be an emergency."
The high-performance Limousine almost floated to the hospital entrance. Waiting at the door was Surgeon Hua Liunian. Upon seeing them get out of the car, he quickly instructed a nurse to bring over a stretcher while walking towards them. "What happened? Isn't this the beautiful woman we saw last time in L City?"
"That's her for sure; she might have fallen down the stairs. Hurry and check on her!"
"Got it!"
