Zhiyun and Yuyi carefully proceeded through the dim corridors deep within the ancient temple. The walls of the temple were covered with mysterious runes and symbols, and the air was filled with an ancient and mystical aura.
Suddenly, they encountered a guardian ahead, dressed in a long robe with an inscrutable face. The guardian held a staff with a radiant tip, and his eyes shimmered with a wise light.
The guardian's voice was deep and powerful: "Are you here to seek Kowloon Walled City? But do you know its connection to the ancient prophecy?"
Zhiyun gripped the sword tightly and asked cautiously, "Who are you? What connection does Kowloon Walled City have with a prophecy?"
The guardian smiled slightly and said, "I am the guardian of this temple, and have been protecting the secrets of the Kowloon Walled City since ancient times. As they gradually understood the meaning of these runes, a powerful energy began to emanate from the stone tablet, surrounding them. This energy seemed to be leading them towards the location of the Kowloon Walled City.
Just as they were preparing to head to the location of the Kowloon Walled City, a powerful light suddenly appeared in the temple, enveloping them. As the sound faded, the light gradually dispersed, revealing a mysterious room. In the center of the room was a shimmering Kowloon Walled City.
When Zhiyun and Jade Wing gazed at Kowloon Walled City, the atmosphere in the room suddenly became mysterious. A beam of light flashed, and a tall, enigmatic Dragon Keeper appeared. This Dragon Keeper was draped in magnificent robes, with an inscrutable countenance and eyes that revealed ancient wisdom.
"I am the messenger of Kowloon," the Dragon Keeper's voice echoed throughout the room. "Kowloon Walled City is not only a treasure, but also a test. Only by passing four trials can you prove yourselves worthy of Kowloon Walled City and my true teachings."
Zhiyun and Jade Wing locked eyes, both filled with a determined glint.
"We are ready," Zhiyun said firmly.
First Trial: Wrath of the Thunder Dragon
As the Dragon Keeper waved the staff, the space was immediately surrounded by thunderclouds, and intense thunder and violent lightning descended like doomsday. A huge shadow of the Thunder Dragon emerged from the clouds, its roar shaking the entire space, making the room seem to be about to split open.
Zhiyun tightly grasped her long sword, her eyes determined: "Jade Wing, we must stay calm and find the pattern of this thunder."
Jade Wing, still in the form of a capercaillie, displayed exceptional intelligence, with his eyes shimmering with strategic thinking.
With every roar of the Thunder Dragon, bolts of lightning came crashing towards them. "Watch your step, Jade Wing!" Zhiyun shouted loudly as she noticed Jade Wing about to be struck by lightning. Jade Wing reacted swiftly, leaping at an astonishing speed to evade the lightning strike.
In the trial, Zhiyun and Jade Wing cooperated with each other and gradually found a way to deal with the thunder. Zhiyun used the sword to attract the thunder, while Jade Wing agilely avoided the danger, and the two complemented each other perfectly.
After a long and difficult battle, the roar of Thunder Dragon finally subsided. Zhiyun and Jade Wing stood in their original positions, panting, but their eyes shimmered with the light of victory.
Thunder Dragon's roar gradually dissipates in the space, and the atmosphere in the room shifts from intense to tranquil, yet still filled with the tension of having just experienced a violent storm. Zhiyun's heart is still racing, feeling the pain and exhaustion with each breath. She turns to Jade Wing, who, despite still being in the form of a capercaillie, exudes the intelligence and courage no different from a human in his eyes.
Zhiyun whispers, " Jade Wing, the power of this thunder is truly astonishing. We really did it."
Jade Wing responded with a giggle, as if praising Zhiyun's performance and expressing joy for their victory.
The synergy and mutual support they displayed in battle enabled them to overcome this seemingly impossible challenge. Zhiyun guided Thunder with her agility and swordsmanship, while Jade Wing used his speed and agility to evade attacks. This combination played a crucial role in the trial.
Zhiyun took a deep breath, adjusted his sword belt, and prepared to face the next challenge.
