Liu Yue stood there, trying to adapt to this brand new environment.
In her heart, many questions suddenly arose.
Is this really the Tomb of the Gale? If it is, then why is there such a beautiful fairy atmosphere and scenery here?
"I have to be careful, there may be unknown dangers here." Liu Yue tightly grasped the "Moon Shadow" dagger and continued to explore this fairy-filled world.
Not long after, she arrived at a small bridge. Under the bridge, clear creek water flowed, with various colorful immortal fish swimming in it.
Just as Liu Yue was about to cross the bridge, a voice suddenly came from behind her.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" The voice belonged to a man, with a calm tone but a hint of caution.
Liu Yue turned around and saw a man in a white robe standing in front of her. He had deep amber eyes and black long hair casually falling on his shoulders.
"I am Liu Yue, and I am here to find the Tomb of the Gale," Liu Yue replied, while also noticing the man holding a transparent, ethereal longsword in his hand.
"Tomb of the Gale?" The man smiled slightly, but it was a cold smile. "Do you know what you are looking for?"
"I—" Liu Yue suddenly realized that she knew nothing about the Tomb of the Gale.
The man sheathed his longsword. "If you don't want to lose your life, you'd better leave immediately."
"Wait, who are you? Do you know where this place is?" Liu Yue asked.
"I am Bai Lin, as for where this place is—" Bai Lin glanced around and then looked at Liu Yue, "perhaps you should first ask yourself why you came here."
Liu Yue suddenly felt a wave of astonishment, but she knew that the man named Bai Lin might be the key to unraveling everything.
"Can you tell me, what exactly is the danger here?" Liu Yue asked.
Bai Lin After a moment of silence, "Nothing here is as simple as it seems on the surface. You may encounter things you least want to face, even—" he paused, "lose the most precious thing to you."
Liu Yue Holding "Moon Shadow" tightly, she made a decision in her heart.
"Regardless of the dangers here, I must continue forward and uncover the secrets of the Tomb of the Gale," Bai Lin looked at her and finally nodded. "Since you have made your decision, I cannot stop you. But you must be careful, this place is full of unknowns."
Bai Lin's words were like a heavy bomb, exploding in Liu Yue's heart. But she understood that shrinking back now would only make everything in vain. She tightly gripped the hilt of her sword "Moon Shadow" and nodded at Bai Lin.
"Thank you for your reminder, I will be careful."
Bai Lin glanced at her again, then turned and walked away. His figure gradually receded, eventually disappearing into a mist of immortality.
Liu Yue stood in front of the small bridge, once again surveying the surroundings. The beautiful scenery and warm sunlight almost made one forget that this was supposed to be a dangerous place. She took a deep breath, tightly fastened the golden sash around her waist, and then crossed the small bridge.
After crossing the small bridge, Liu Yue discovered a path extending forward. As she walked along the path, her sense of alertness reached an unprecedented height. Before long, she arrived at the edge of a pond.
The surface of the pond was as calm as a mirror, reflecting the ethereal clouds floating in the sky and a few blooming celestial flowers. However, Liu Yue immediately noticed a small island in the middle of the lake, on which stood a stone monument.
Her heart skipped a beat as she immediately thought that this monument might be related to the Tomb of the Gale. She drew "Moonshadow" and pointed the tip of the sword towards the lake. With an incantation, a beam of moonlight shot out from the short sword, forming a bridge of moonlight.
Liu Yue stepped onto the moonlight bridge, gradually approaching the small island. When she reached the monument, she discovered a line of inscription: "I am the guardian of the Tomb of the Gale, mortals halt, immortals enter the tomb."
At this moment, the stone monument suddenly emitted a dazzling light, and a beam of light shot directly at Liu Yue. She instinctively raised "Moonshadow" to block it, only to see the moonstone emit a soft light, reflecting the beam back to the stone monument.
The light of the stone monument dimmed instantly, and then a crack slowly opened on it, revealing a hidden door.
Heart pounding, Liu Yue realized she had found the entrance to the Tomb of the Gale. She tightly gripped "Moon Shadow" once again, took a deep breath, and then stepped into the dark doorway.
As the dark door closed, a strong force pulled her into a completely black space. When light reappeared, she found herself standing in a massive stone chamber.
The surrounding environment was dimly lit, with only some mysterious runes on the stone wall emitting a faint glow. These runes occasionally flickered, as if communicating with her.
She carefully observed her surroundings and noticed a door on one side of the stone chamber, with an ancient inscription above it: "Only through extreme cultivation can one enter."
Liu Yue Her brows furrowed, wondering if this meant that only those who had reached a certain level of cultivation could pass through this door. She drew "Moonshadow" and pointed the tip of the sword at the door, quietly chanting a spell.
moonstone emitted a bright light, resonating with the words on the stone door. The door slowly opened, revealing a long passage.
"It looks like I made it through," Liu Yue sighed with relief, tightly gripping the "Moon Shadow" as she entered the passage.
The passage was very spacious, but the further she walked, the more she felt the pressure increasing. With each step, it felt as if the walls on either side of the passage were draining her of her spiritual energy. But she didn't back down; instead, she gritted her teeth and continued on with determination.
