The prince has left, and the world has quieted down.
I slumped in my chair, starting to contemplate life.
Thinking about selling some storybooks, buying a hundred acres of fertile land, and not having to serve him like I serve my ancestors,
tch~ the more I think about it, the more comfortable it feels.
In the air, I could vaguely smell a foul odor that made me dizzy.
I got up and ordered someone to bring warm water; after a quick bath, I felt refreshed all over.
Qin Yunhao didn't come; it was said that he didn't attend court today and had been in his study all along.
Why isn't he attending court?
Out of curiosity, I went to the study.
However, as soon as I entered, I saw him squinting at a letter with a serious expression.
I remained silent, quietly standing by and waiting. Sure enough, after a moment, he noticed me.
Putting away the letter, he glanced at me and asked, "Is there something?"
I shook my head, "No, just heard you didn't attend court, so I came to check on you."
"Mm," he nodded, "There has been nothing of importance in court lately; this King needs to focus on matters outside."
Outside?
I was taken aback and instinctively glanced at the letter he had put away. Could it be a confidential letter?
My curiosity piqued, I couldn't help but lean closer and ask, "Do you have some secrets that are not known to others?"
His cold gaze fixed on me; just when I thought he might silence me,
he suddenly reached out and gently pulled me onto his lap.
I: "……"
My face suddenly began to flush.
I gently pushed him away, "After all, I'm your confidante. If you have anything to discuss with me, maybe I can help you."
Qin Yunhao raised an eyebrow, "Want to know?"
"Mm."
"Alright, then I'll take you to see it tonight."
"Why at night? Is there some kind of action?" I asked nervously.
Before I could react, his hand had already tugged at my waistband, burying his head against my chest while one hand began to wander under my skirt. Gradually, I forgot what I was about to say, only remembering the dizzying breaths I was taking.
When I opened my eyes again, looking at the patterns on the bed curtains, Qin Yunhao was pressing down on me, his hands caressing my body.
I instinctively pushed him away, but he laughed, "Awake?"
I suddenly realized that I was now his Consort; pushing him away seemed inappropriate. I quickly sat up to face him.
He had a smile at the corner of his mouth, "Do you still have the energy to look? Didn't you exhaust yourself yesterday?"
I was speechless.
Why was he not following the usual script? He jumped straight into such an awkward question; how was I supposed to respond? I mumbled a reply and tried to change the subject, "If you want to see it, get up quickly."
His hands were still wandering over me, and in a fit of frustration, I grabbed the nearby waistband and wrapped it around him.
Only after doing that did I realize how scared I was. Oh my God, what am I doing? He is a prince! Can my neck still be attached to my head?!
I forced a smile. "Look, isn't this exciting?"
The prince was momentarily stunned, then raised an eyebrow and actually believed me. He even seemed unusually excited because I had tied him up.
Seeing him like this filled me with immense pride.
Didn’t expect this, did you? I still have this trick up my sleeve. Let’s see how you handle me this time!
But before I could feel too pleased with myself, the prince freed himself from his belt and pinned me down right there.
I put up a token resistance, but of course, I ultimately failed.
That beast of a prince had too much stamina; he wore me out to the point where I couldn't even straighten my waist.
