Chapter 79
That night, I returned to my room.
I stood in front of the mirror, glancing at the clothes I was wearing and then at the tote bag I had brought with me.
Inside it was a bunny girl lingerie set.
My cheeks flushed with a hint of crimson.
After hesitating for a long time, I finally mustered the courage to take out the contents of the tote bag and walked into the bathroom.
Ten minutes later, I emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a towel, standing in front of the mirror. Taking a deep breath, I slowly let the towel fall away.
Looking at my porcelain-like body in the mirror, my face turned bright red.
I bit my lip and walked over to the tote bag to retrieve its contents.
It was a two-piece lingerie set; the top was made of black ribbons, and the bottom was a white silk skirt adorned with white rabbit fur along the edges.
My cheeks burned as I picked up the black ribbons and carefully put them on, tying them securely.
I gazed at myself in the mirror, my face still flushed.
This lingerie set seemed designed specifically for a bunny girl; wearing it made me feel like a sexy little white rabbit.
My heart raced as I raised my hand, preparing to unzip my clothes...
Suddenly, my phone rang.
Startled, I quickly grabbed my phone; it was a call from Qiao Qiran.
"Brother, is there something wrong?" I asked nervously.
"I'm at Yunshan Hotel. Which room are you in?" Qiao Qiran asked.
I was startled. "What are you doing here?"
"I made you a date and white fungus soup and brought it for you," Qiao Qiran replied.
"Ah?" I was taken aback. "No need, I'm about to go to sleep."
"I'm already at the hotel, so hurry up and open the door," Qiao Qiran said before hanging up the phone.
I was shocked and immediately opened the door.
Qiao Qiran was wearing military uniform and carrying a thermos.
He walked into the room and set the thermos down. "Have you been very tired lately?"
"No, not at all," I said, feeling guilty.
"Don't lie to me; I've heard all about it." Qiao Qiran opened the thermos and poured a bowl of soup for me, handing it over. "Drink it while it's hot."
"Thank you, Brother." I took the bowl and sipped it slowly.
"I'll leave once you're done drinking," I said.
Qiao Qiran frowned. "I drove for an hour to get here, and you want me to stay for just five minutes?"
"I..."
"What? Do you have someone in your room?" Qiao Qiran said as he started walking toward the bathroom.
I was startled and quickly stepped in front of him.
"Brother, what are you doing?"
Qiao Qiran glanced behind me, his expression stiffening.
I realized something and slowly turned around to see Lu Weize standing behind me.
He was shirtless, with a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair was damp, and water droplets slid down his chest muscles to his abs, finally disappearing into the towel.
"Wow, all done with your shower!" Lu Weize said with a smile.
Qiao Qiran was holding a pair of bunny ears, looking at me in shock.
I: "..."
Chapter 80
Qiao Qiran stared for a moment before reacting. He looked coldly at Lu Weize and said, "Lu Weize, how can you do this to me?"
Lu Weize frowned slightly. "What did I do?"
"You actually brought her into such a scandalous situation." Qiao Qiran raised the bunny ears in his hand, glaring angrily at Lu Weize.
Lu Weize: "..."
"Don't misunderstand, it's me..."
"Brother, you should go out first," I said sharply.
Qiao Qiran was taken aback. He looked at me deeply for a moment before turning and leaving the room.
I walked up to Lu Weize, stood on my tiptoes, wrapped my arms around his neck, and whispered in his ear, "Wait for me a moment; I need to clarify things with him."
"Okay," Lu Weize nodded.
I stepped outside and closed the door behind me.
Qiao Qiran stood in the hallway, facing away from me.
I walked over and stood in front of him. "Brother, I made up with Lu Weize."
"So what?" Qiao Qiran looked at me coldly.
"In the future, we will live like a couple," I said.
"A couple?" Qiao Qiran scoffed. "Lu Weize has led you astray."
"Brother, it was my choice," I explained.
"You weren't like this before," Qiao Qiran said, his expression complicated as he looked at me. "Lin Chu, you've changed."
"People change," I replied with a bitter smile. "Brother, you should go back."
Qiao Qiran took a deep breath. "Lu Weize, if you dare to bully her, I won't let you off the hook."
After saying that, he turned and walked into the elevator.
I sighed in relief and returned to my room.
Lu Weize came over and hugged me. "Your brother is really angry."
"It's fine; he'll be okay soon," I smiled. "Let's continue."
Lu Weize leaned down and kissed my lips.
An hour later, I lay on the bed lazily looking at Lu Weize. "I'm done playing; I'm exhausted."
Lu Weize leaned closer and said with a smile, "This is just the beginning; let's go again."
"No," I shook my head. "Tomorrow."
Lu Weize hugged me and said, "Alright, I'll listen to you."
Lu Weize and I had been staying at Qiao Qiran's house for a few days when Lu Weize mentioned wanting to buy a villa.
Qiao Qiran was taken aback by Lu Weize's generosity.
"Buy a villa?" Qiao Qiran looked at me in disbelief. "You want to buy a villa in Beijing?"
"Yes," Lu Weize nodded. "I said I like big houses, and after thinking about it, a villa seems more suitable."
"You've gone mad," Qiao Qiran frowned. "Why would you buy such a big house?"
"Because I like it," Lu Weize replied with a smile.
"You..." Qiao Qiran glared at me. "Don't spoil her too much."
"I'm happy to do it," Lu Weize shrugged.
Qiao Qiran sighed, "You need to think this through. Once you're married, you're not a child anymore; don't throw tantrums."
"Brother, it's my decision to buy it," I explained.
Qiao Qiran looked at me and asked, "What do you need such a big house for?"
"I just like big houses," I said.
"But you..."
"Brother, just let it be," I interrupted him. "I know what I'm doing."
"Exactly, Qiao Qiran, just let it go," Lu Weize chimed in.
Qiao Qiran looked at the two of us and finally sighed, "Fine, since you've both made up your minds, I won't interfere."
Chapter 81
At the end of August, I returned to school.
Lu Weize went to Beijing to work at the High Energy Physics Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He is responsible for the Collider Detector Research Project.
This project has a tight schedule and heavy tasks, and Lu Weize is so busy that he hardly has time to rest. However, he still insists on coming to B University every week to teach two basic physics classes.
I am very busy, but I really miss him.
So, I often sneak over to B University to attend Lu Weize's classes.
When I arrived at B University and walked into the classroom, I was stunned. The classroom was filled with a bunch of students, all girls!
I quickly walked to the corner of the last row and sat down.
"Hey, have you heard? Professor Lu is only twenty-six or twenty-seven this year. He's so young!"
"Yeah, it's amazing that he's already a professor at such a young age."
"Not only that, he’s really handsome, even more so than movie stars."
"Is that true? Do you have any photos?"
"No, but we'll see him in a bit."
The classmates were excitedly discussing, and I couldn't help but smile at what they were saying.
I didn't expect Lu Weize to be so popular.
As the class bell rang, the students instantly quieted down.
Lu Weize walked in from outside.
He was wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants, looking just like a high school student.
"Hello everyone, I am Lu Weize." Lu Weize stood at the podium, smiling brightly.
A burst of enthusiastic applause erupted from the audience.
"Quiet, quiet," Lu Weize raised his hand to signal everyone to stop clapping. "Let's begin the class."
"Okay."
Lu Weize started the lesson, speaking in detail and with humor. By the end of the class, the students were all listening attentively.
"What are the basic principles of scientific investigation?" Lu Weize looked at the audience. "Is there a student who can answer that?"
"I know!" A girl in the front row raised her hand and answered in a perfect American accent.
"Very good," Lu Weize nodded. "Please sit down."
"Students, have you passed your Level Four exam?" Lu Weize suddenly asked.
There was a moment of silence in the audience.
"I am teaching freshmen this year, and if you haven't passed Level Four, I will offer a college English course next semester."
Lu Weize said with a smile.
The audience erupted in groans.
"Alright, now we will enter the Q&A session. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me," Lu Weize said.
"Teacher," a girl stood up, "do you have a girlfriend?"
Lu Weize raised an eyebrow, looking at me with a slow smile at the corners of his lips. "Guess."
There was an uproar from the audience.
"I guess you didn't," a girl boldly said.
"Sorry to disappoint you," Lu Weize replied with a smile.
The crowd erupted into enthusiastic applause.
The girl sat down, her face flushed.
The class bell rang.
Lu Weize packed up his things and walked off the stage.
I quickly lowered my head, afraid he would notice me.
However, Lu Weize walked straight toward me.
"What are you doing here?" Lu Weize stood in front of me, looking at me with a bright smile.
"I... I came to attend the class," I said softly.
"Did you understand?" Lu Weize ruffled my hair.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Let's go, I'll take you out for a meal," Lu Weize said, taking my hand.
"Wait." I stopped him, "I haven't finished class yet."
