"Do you think this is the end?" I retorted.
"As long as we're alive, it's never too late," he replied.
Our battle with Shadow Weaver grew increasingly intense, each move fueled by a desperate determination.
In the end, we finally won.
We stood before Shadow Heart, our hearts filled with the joy of victory.
"We did it!" I shouted excitedly.
"We protected Shadow Heart and thwarted Shadow Weaver's scheme."
Old Hunter also smiled.
"That's right, we really did it!"
However, just as we were basking in the joy of our victory, Shadow Girl suddenly rushed into the room, her face pale.
"There's trouble! Many black shadows have appeared in the city, and they're causing destruction everywhere," she said anxiously.
"We need to hurry and check it out."
I gripped my weapon tightly, a sense of unease creeping into my heart.
"Let's go quickly."
We hurried out of Shadow Heart's room, and the outside world had become chaotic.
Those black shadows roamed the streets and alleys with impunity; their attacks were erratic but particularly vicious.
Old Hunter's eyes revealed a hint of worry.
"These must be remnants of Shadow Weaver's power; we need to find the source quickly and stop all of this."
We navigated through the chaotic city, engaging in battle after battle with those black shadows.
"We can't just stand by and watch them continue to destroy the city."
I shouted loudly.
"We must defend our home."
Old Hunter and Shadow Girl followed closely behind me, our figures flickering in and out of the shadows of the city, our weapons emitting a dazzling light that illuminated the darkness.
"We need to hurry."
We dashed through street after street, our battles with those black shadows growing increasingly intense.
"We have to win!"
I shouted again.
"We absolutely cannot lose!"
We must protect our city and stop Shadow Weaver's plot.
Finally, we figured out the weakness of those black shadows.
Hmm? That's right, they are afraid of light!
Shadow Girl pointed at the frightened shadows retreating and said, "See? They fear this; let's drive them away with light!"
So we began to use light sources as weapons, turning our phone flashlights to the maximum brightness or using anything that could shine to brighten our surroundings.
Seeing those shadows slowly retreating, it was clear they were truly afraid of the light; it was like sharp knives to them.
It seemed our method was working!
We successfully pushed back those shadows, our weapons sparkling with light like blades cutting through the darkness.
However, just when we thought victory was within reach, a creature appeared that was far more powerful than the previous shadows.
Its strength far exceeded that of the other shadows; it was Shadow Weaver's formidable assistant.
The experienced Mr. Hunter had a serious expression in his eyes.
"We need to unite if we're going to defeat him."
This shadow was incredibly strong; it felt like our ordinary attacks had no effect on it at all.
Every time the shadow launched a fierce attack at us, it carried immense power, as if it aimed to destroy everything in its path.
The three of us huddled closely together, nervously watching the shadow's every move.
We have been searching for opportunities to attack, but each time after the assault, we always feel so powerless.
Sigh, it seems that the power of this shadow has clearly exceeded our imagination.
Our hearts race, sweat soaks our clothes, and we grip our weapons tightly, feeling both anxious and restless.
Just when we thought we were at a dead end, we saw a familiar beam of light piercing through the darkness.
