I found Su Yingqing and revealed my true identity to her, along with the plans of the Su Family Parents. Su Yingqing's face turned pale as she looked into my eyes, her voice trembling slightly.
"How could they have found out?"
I was taken aback, staring at her, a sense of foreboding flashing through my mind.
"Did you tell them?"
Su Yingqing shook her head, taking a deep breath as if summoning her courage.
"I didn't tell them, but I blocked your information. Still, they managed to find out."
I looked at her, filled with confusion and disbelief.
"Why would you do that?"
Su Yingqing lowered her head, her voice soft but it felt like a bombshell to me.
"I didn't want you to come back and be part of the marriage alliance; I didn't want you to get hurt."
I was stunned, looking at Su Yingqing with mixed emotions. I never expected that she would betray her own parents for my sake. I took her hand, my voice firm yet gentle.
"I won't let them hurt you; I will take you away."
Su Yingqing looked at me, tears glistening in her eyes. We decided to escape from the control of the Su Family Parents and find a place where they couldn't find us to start a new life. But before we could act, the Su Family Parents discovered our intentions. They stood before us, furious and dark-faced.
"Where do you think you can escape to?"
I tightened my grip on Su Yingqing's hand, my voice resolute and powerful.
"I won't let you hurt her; I won't let you decide her fate."
The Su Family Parents glared at me, their gazes filled with threats and disdain.
"Do you think you can defy the family's orders?"
I lifted my head and looked at them, my gaze showing no fear.
"I can try."
The Su Family Parents looked at me, a flicker of surprise crossing their faces.
"You are looking for death."
Su Yingqing suddenly stepped forward, standing in front of me, her voice firm and powerful.
"We will face this together; we will resist you together."
The expressions of the Su Family Parents darkened further as they stared at us, their eyes filled with shock and anger.
"Do you think you can oppose the entire Su Family?"
I smiled slightly, my voice calm and resolute.
"We can try."
Su's Father glared at me, his face contorting into a menacing and terrifying expression.
"If you dare to defy our orders, we will not go easy on Su Yingqing."
My heart burned with anger; I did not want Su Yingqing to become a victim of the family feud.
Madam Su looked at me, sneering coldly, her voice laced with sarcasm.
"In this house, no one is innocent. If you refuse to comply, don't blame us for being ruthless."
Su Yingqing tightened her grip on my hand, her gaze unwavering. She conveyed to them that she was willing to stand with me against their pressure rather than let them use Xiaoran as a tool to threaten me.
I felt warmed by Su Yingqing's determination. I looked at her and softly asked,
"Are you really ready to confront them?"
Su Yingqing nodded, looking at me with unwavering resolve.
"I am ready. For our freedom, for our happiness, I am willing to challenge them."
I gazed at her, filled with emotion and courage.
We turned to face the Su Family Parents, and Su Yingqing's voice was clear and resolute.
"I will not let you marry Xiaoran off to anyone."
Su Family Parents looked at us, clearly shocked and angry at Su Yingqing's defiance.
Madam Su stared at Su Yingqing, her face turning pale with anger.
"Are you challenging the authority of the family?"
