Liu Yue walked out of the stone chamber and found herself in a vast underground cave. The top of the cave was embedded with various colored gemstones, which illuminated the entire space like stars. Not far away, she saw a giant magic mirror - the legendary "mirror of Erised" that could enhance spiritual power and cultivation.
"So the Tomb of the Gale actually hides such an important treasure!" exclaimed Liu Yue.
Suddenly, a crack appeared on the mirror, which then expanded into a dark vortex. Before Liu Yue could react, she was sucked in.
After a moment of dizziness, she found herself standing in front of a huge palace. The palace looked magnificent, but it was filled with a gloomy atmosphere.
"Where am I?" Liu Yue couldn't help but wonder.
At that moment, a figure suddenly walked out of the palace. The person was wearing a black robe with golden flame runes embroidered on it - this person looked exactly like Liu Yue!
When he saw her, a sly smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
"Oh? You seem very confused," he said with a hint of disdain in his tone.
Liu Yue pulled out "Moon Shadow," and the tense atmosphere seemed to freeze the air.
"Who are you? Why do you look exactly like me?" Liu Yue asked.
"Oh, this question is very simple. Because I am you, just in a different world. And this world is the future you are about to experience," Another Liu Yue slowly approached, holding a sword in her hand - "Dark Moon."
The two swords were drawn almost simultaneously, the sword light flickered, drawing a beautiful arc in the air.
At that moment, a sword energy suddenly shot from a distance, blocking the attacks of the two people.
The two were surprised and turned their heads, only to see a man in a white robe slowly walking over.
" Bai Lin!" Liu Yue recognized the person and called out in surprise.
"You shouldn't be meeting here," Bai Lin said solemnly, holding the " Cloud cracker " in his hand. The sword's body was transparent like air, with only the hilt being solid.
"Hmph, meddling in others' business." Another Liu Yue snorted coldly and then disappeared into a black mist.
Bai Lin glanced at Liu Yue with deep, amber eyes filled with coldness.
"Do you now realize how dangerous it is?"
Liu Yue nodded, feeling even more determined to resolve everything.
"I know, but I can't give up on this."
"I know it's very dangerous, but the other me seems to have some ulterior motive. I can't let her continue to do bad things. Bai Lin, can you tell me how to solve this problem?" Liu Yue asked seriously.
Bai Lin looked at her and nodded slightly, "Sealing the mirror of Erised is one way, but it requires immense power and cost. There is another way, which is to change the parallel world version of you, guiding her onto the right path."
Liu Yue furrowed her brow, "Change her? That's not simple at all. Haven't you seen the way she is? And how can I change someone similar to me but has taken the wrong path?"
Bai Lin quietly looked at her for a while and finally said, "Perhaps you need to understand her first before you can find a way to change her. And all of this, you need to choose for yourself."
Liu Yue felt a wave of emotion in her heart. She knew that Bai Lin was right - to change others, one must first understand them. But she also understood that this was no easy task.
" Liu Yue, are you willing to help me?" Liu Yue looked at him, her eyes filled with anticipation.
Bai Lin looked at her, and finally nodded. "I am the guardian of the Mirror of Erised, and it is my responsibility to prevent disasters from happening. Of course, if you are willing to accept my help."
Liu Yue Upon hearing this, a warm feeling arose in my heart.
"Thank you, Bai Lin."
"Don't mention it, this is what I should do," Bai Lin said with a slight smile. At that moment, Liu Yue felt the ice in her heart melt.
Bai Lin glanced in the direction where the black mist had disappeared, then turned to Liu Yue and said, "We need to find a safe place to talk, this is not a long-term solution."
Liu Yue nodded, feeling some doubts but more trust in Bai Lin.
The two of them quickly walked out of the palace and arrived at a pond surrounded by lush trees and flowers. The water in the pond was crystal clear. Bai Lin took out a small wooden box, tapped it gently, and immediately a transparent barrier appeared, isolating the two of them inside.
"What is this?" Liu Yue asked in surprise.
"This is a simple isolation formation that can block external detection and attacks," Bai Lin explained.
Liu Yue nodded, feeling even more admiration for Bai Lin's strength.
"Now, can you tell me the detailed process of how you came to this world?" Bai Lin asked.
Liu Yue found the mirror of Erised in the Tomb of the Gale and then detailed the incident of being sucked into a parallel world.
"I see, it seems you really stumbled into it," Bai Lin said thoughtfully. "However, this mirror is not a good thing, especially for you."
"Why did I hear that the mirror of Erised is a good thing that can enhance one's strength?" Liu Yue asked in confusion.
"Because this mirror not only leads to parallel universes, but it also has the potential to cause catastrophic consequences. You have already seen the parallel world version of yourself. If she were to obtain this mirror, the consequences would be unimaginable," Bai Lin said solemnly.
Liu Yue fell silent for a moment, then said firmly, "Then I cannot let her succeed even more."
Bai Lin looked at her, a hint of admiration flashing in his eyes, and said, "Very well, are you willing to cooperate with me then?"
"Of course," Liu Yue agreed without hesitation.
Bai Lin smiled slightly, and in that moment, it was as if the whole world lit up.
"Then, first we need to find a magical plant called 'Holy Grass,' which is the key to sealing this mirror," Liu Yue's heart trembled, amazed at Bai Lin's level of understanding of the situation, but she knew that now was not the time for doubt.
"Okay, let's set off now," Liu Yue said.
Bai Lin nodded, and then the two of them walked out of the barrier, embarking on the journey to find the "Holy Grass."
