Level 3: Phantom Mirror Room
After passing the test of the moving ground, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Isosuke arrived at a vast and mysterious mirror room.
In this mirror room, the walls and ceiling are embedded with countless distorted mirrors, each reflecting their image, but these images seem to have a life and will of their own.
"These mirrors... seem to be moving." Zenitsu looked around in amazement, his face reflecting the distorted image in the mirrors.
"These are not ordinary mirrors, be careful, they may deceive our senses," Tanjiro reminded, his eyes shining with vigilance.
Isosuke brandished his twin swords, "I'm not afraid of any trickery!"
They entered the mirror room slowly, and with each step, the reflection in the mirror changed. Suddenly, an image jumped out of the mirror and became a real presence.
"Is this... my shadow?" Zenitsu exclaimed. The image in front of him was a perfect copy of himself, even down to the movements and expressions.
Tanjiro and Isosuke also found that their images jumped out of the mirror, forming three identical opponents.
"We must find the real exit and not be deceived by these illusions," Tanjiro said softly, facing his own illusion.
The battle has begun, and the three of them have engaged in an intense fight with their own phantoms. With each attack, the phantoms are able to perfectly mimic and counterattack.
"This is insane, they can predict every move we make!" Zenitsu shouted as he battled his own phantom.
"We need to find their weaknesses," Tanjiro analyzed, constantly looking for opportunities in his battle against his own illusion.
Isosuke roared, "I won't lose to myself!" His dual blades clashed with the illusion's, creating a crisp sound.
The battle continued for a while, and the three gradually realized that these illusions seemed unable to fully replicate their psychological changes and creativity. So, they began to try using more innovative and unpredictable tactics.
"Thunder Breathing—Form Nine: Thunderclap and Flash!" Zenitsu suddenly changed the rhythm of his attack and unexpectedly struck his own illusion.
"Breath of Water——Twelfth Form: Water Dragon Whirlpool!" Tanjiro also used a new technique, successfully disrupting the movements of the illusion.
Isosuke then roared, "The Breath of the Beast——Fifth Form: Fierce Beast Rampage!" His dual blades unleashed unprecedented power, defeating his own illusion in one strike.
After an intense battle, they finally defeated all the phantoms. As the last phantom dissipated, a wall in the mirror room slowly opened, revealing a passage to the next level.
"Let's go, the next level is waiting for us," Tanjiro said, his eyes filled with determination.
"No matter what lies ahead, we will not back down," Zenitsu and Isosuke responded in unison.
The three of them proceeded to the next level, filled with courage and determination, ready to face even greater challenges ahead.
Level Four: Flame Maze
After passing the test of the Phantom Mirror Room, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Isosuke arrived at a maze made up of endless flames. Inside this maze, the flames constantly change positions, sometimes converging to form walls, and other times dispersing to create paths, forming a world that is both dangerous and enchanting.
"The flames... they seem to have a will of their own," Zenitsu said in astonishment, his eyes fixed on the moving flames around them.
"We need to find a way through this maze," Tanjiro said. "This maze is a bit complex," Isosuke commented, his eyes searching for a path within the rapidly moving flames.
Tanjiro Close your eyes and focus on feeling the changes around you. He could feel the heat and rhythm of the flames, which seemed to be the key to navigating the maze. "We have to move forward with the rhythm of the flames," he suggested.
"Sounds like dancing," Zenitsu said half-jokingly, but there was a hint of nervousness on his face as well.
Three people began to move cautiously, trying to keep pace with the rhythm of the flames. Whenever the flames dispersed, they quickly passed through; whenever the flames converged, they stopped in their tracks. Throughout this process, they had to remain highly alert, as the flames could change direction at any moment, and the heat from the flames was enough to cause serious injury.
"This is like playing a dangerous game," Isosuke gritted his teeth, a hint of unease flashing across his face.
After entering the depths of the maze, they found that the flames became more active, forming even flame vortexes. Tanjiro stood in front of the vortex, took a deep breath, and said, "We have to pass through this vortex. Are you ready?"
"Even if we're not ready, we have to go!" Zenitsu gripped the sword handle tightly, determination shining in his eyes.
"I'm ready at any time!" Isosuke responded excitedly.
The three of them gathered their courage and charged into the swirling flames. The flames within the vortex surrounded them like living beings, and they had to use all their skills and speed to avoid being consumed by the flames.
"Hurry, this way!" Tanjiro shouted, pointing to what seemed like a safe path ahead. They weaved through the flames, like dancers in a fiery dance, every step filled with danger.
Finally, they successfully crossed the maze of flames and stood in a relatively safe place. All three of them were breathing heavily, but their faces were all adorned with victorious smiles.
"We did it!" Zenitsu panted, victory shining in his eyes.
"But there are still challenges ahead of us. Let's keep moving forward," Tanjiro said, taking a step forward.
Level Five: The Valley of Silence
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Isosuke entered a peculiar area known as "The Valley of Silence." In this place, there is no sound at all, not even the sound of their own footsteps. The valley is filled with a mysterious atmosphere, as if it is completely isolated from the world.
They looked at each other, realizing that this would be a huge challenge. Unable to communicate with sound, they had to rely on non-verbal ways to cooperate.
Tanjiro gestured for them to come closer, then signaled with hand gestures that they should remain silent. They nodded in agreement and began to move slowly in the The Valley of Silence.
The valley was quiet, with only the sound of their breathing and heartbeat echoing in their ears. Zenitsu's eyes searched around, and he noticed a subtle change - a patch of ground seemed slightly different from the rest.
He bent down and lightly tapped the ground with his fingers, conveying his discovery. Tanjiro and Isosuke both noticed this and nodded in understanding.
Following that, they began using gestures to communicate direction and action. One finger pointed forward, indicating to move ahead; two fingers crossed meant to stop; waving a hand indicated a left or right turn. This unspoken way of communicating allowed them to smoothly collaborate in a silent environment.
The Valley of Silence was filled with winding and maze-like passages, but they successfully navigated through each obstacle relying on their unspoken and nonverbal communication. In this quiet environment, their perception became more acute, able to sense subtle changes.
As they approached the center of the valley, a strange phenomenon appeared at the bottom of the valley, resembling a giant halo emitting a faint light. Tanjiro pointed at the halo, indicating that they should head in that direction.
Guided by the halo, they entered the center of the valley. The atmosphere here was even more mysterious, and the silent surroundings made them feel oppressed.
Three of them exchanged a knowing glance and decided to take urgent action. Tanjiro signaled for them to move forward and then pointed into the distance, indicating that they needed to search for Hijou Feiya's trail.
In The Valley of Silence, they used coordinated gestures to swiftly and agilely traverse this silent domain. They carefully observed the subtle changes on the ground, searching for any possible clues.
Before long, they discovered some footprints that appeared to be left by Nezuko. She had left these clues in the hope of guiding them to find her.
The footprints led to a hidden cave entrance, seemingly leading into the depths of the valley. Tanjiro led Zenitsu and Inosuke into this dark passage without hesitation.
The passage is filled with the unique silence of The Valley of Silence, and they can only rely on gestures and eye contact to communicate. Venturing deeper into the passage, they encounter some hidden mechanisms and traps, but they handle them with agility, without making a sound.
Finally, they arrive at a huge underground cave, find the exit, and continue to advance to the next level. They are determined to rescue Hijou Feiya from the clutches of Merciless at all costs.
